Yes, it's older and somewhat rustic, but I'm glad we found this place. We needed a place to stay a night before heading to our campsite at Taughannock Falls State Park. Our room was large and convenient, and he location is great - close to Buttermilk Falls State Park and Ithaca, both of which we visited from here. It bills... More

Grayhaven Motel is a great place for a family getaway. The Keurig is always available in the front office, the rooms are spacious, and the towels are not filled with fabric softener. Plus, Magic, the owner's dog is such a lovable thing. The pros outweigh the cons, but to be fair here are the cons. Being energy saving minded, we... More

This is a wonderful hotel for people traveling with dogs. Just about all of the rooms are dog friendly and the hotel contains a fenced in dog walking and exercise area that is terrific. The quality of the rooms themselves is excellent. It has a very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. It also is in a good location. Just outside of... More

The motel is a bit on the older side but is kept very clean. Some of the rooms are also very cute. Not too far from the wineries either. Pleasant stay nonetheless. The single double bed room has an electric fireplace along with some open space for a small party.

Nothing fancy, but totally adequate and clean. As would be expected at a place that allows dogs and is priced so reasonably, there weren't any extra frills, but everything worked and was as described on the web site. We stayed in #12 of the Treman Lodge section of the hotel and the room was big and had a large window... More

We never expect 5 star since we travel with our dog. This was great as it had a fenced in dog play area. The motel was just fine for being pet friendly but maybe a little over-priced for November. My biggest complaint was the uncomfortable bed. It was hard and lumpy. I love a firm mattress but I awoke every... More

Went there for an overnight stopover on a multi-day road trip. Seems to be geared towards the dog lovers crowd, with dog playpens and all. We did not have any pets with us. Rooms are exactly as described and pictured on the motel's website: older style but very clean and spacious. The place was generally quiet in the evening and... More

This hotel had a retro vibe to it, sort of Norman Bates-ish but in a really good way. I loved it. The grounds were nice & the fireflies a bonus. The location was a bit far from Ithaca but I liked the more rural setting next to Buttermilk Falls Park. The room was very clean. The bed was a bit... More

My husband and I stayed at Grayhaven Motel in Ithaca, NY last summer, and have already booked our stay there again for our vacation in August. If you are going to Ithaca to play on the internet in your Swanky hotel room, don't stay at Grayhaven. But. . . if you are going to Ithaca to do things in and... More

First of all, this is not a B&B - I don't know why it's classified as such in Tripadvisor. Also, please note my rating is for and old style local motel. Please don't try to compare it to an upscale hotel or a chain hotel - it really doesn't compare favorably. Having said that, here are my comments. The hotel... More
