This is a hotel which I' d pay 80 dollars to stay, at most. It cost 125 plus taxes. Looking from the road, it's kind of cute, but that's pretty much it. The room is super basic and it STINKS of cheap cleaning products. It gave me a headache and I could hardly get any sleep. I have to say,... More

It´s old but it's very clean. Mattresses are not that comfortable but it's not a noisy neiberhood. But if you travel with your dog, you just hit the jackpot! They are very dog friendly and best of all that fenced yard is sooooo useful! That if worth a little less luxury.

This hotel is in a very busy area so they don't have to worry about their occupancy rate. The rooms are average but what upset me was their promise of wi-fi. I needed to do some work but found no signal. They promised to fix it but never did. Finally out of exasperation I went to the office and asked... More

We have never guaranteed wifi connection in all our rooms. In fact we clearly state on our web page that in 10 of our rooms most likely guests will not be able to connect. Then the only other option is to move closer to the office where the wifi router is located. On a weekend when all 16 rooms are... More

My husband, 17 year old daughter and 4 year old lab-mix stayed here while on a college visit. I did do a little research to find a pet friendly motel/hotel and hit the jackpot with Grayhaven. We travel a lot with our dog on vacation and have also done so for the past 20 years with our other dogs. There... More

I was very pleased with my stay. Room was clean and spacious. I really like the location. Just a little out of town with a country feel. I could hear a little road noise, but nothing that couldn't be drowned out just by running the fan on the ac unit. Overall it felt very homey.

I wasn't expecting a little house, but that's what we got. I took my son and a classmate on college visits and happened upon the recommendations of others on tripadvisor and took a chance. Two bedrooms, a kitchen, and unusual bathroom (shower on one side of the hallway and powder room opposite - NOT a dealbreaker). Plenty of space. It... More

We spent three nights at Grayhaven while attending a greyhound event in the area. We found the accommodations to fit our needs perfectly. The motel website describes all available accommodations and we chose a room with twin beds. There was plenty of room for our dog crates and other items needed when traveling with three greyhounds. The motel is very... More

quiet and very clean with a nice big Sycamore to sit under during afternoon tea. Pets have a great fenced area to play in (with agility equiptment). Super trails at Buttermilk Falls and Robert Tremon State Parks right down the road. Take the back roads to Trumansburg for a scenic evening drive ( watch out for the deer)

Yes, it's older and somewhat rustic, but I'm glad we found this place. We needed a place to stay a night before heading to our campsite at Taughannock Falls State Park. Our room was large and convenient, and he location is great - close to Buttermilk Falls State Park and Ithaca, both of which we visited from here. It bills... More

Grayhaven Motel is a great place for a family getaway. The Keurig is always available in the front office, the rooms are spacious, and the towels are not filled with fabric softener. Plus, Magic, the owner's dog is such a lovable thing. The pros outweigh the cons, but to be fair here are the cons. Being energy saving minded, we... More
