This past weekend, I tried despreately to get a room for Saturday, July 19th with little/minimal/no luck. After searching high and low, I finally came across a vacancy at Frog's Way B+B. First of all, the owner, Elan Shapiro, was extremely cordial and polite over the phone when I made the reservations for the "Lavender" room. He gave a detailed... More

This place has a unique charm especially if u care for environmental friendly and organic breakfast. Don't skip the AMAZING granola, perfect jam, yummy fresh juice and fruit. The best is to rent both rooms and enjoy the entire unit for quality time: outdoor dinning, basketball playing, hiking and board game playing ! We had there unforgettable great time !

I visited my son for spring break in March and loved staying at this cozy spot. I watched the sun rise out my bedroom window and the bright stars at night. Plenty of space and so much cosier than a hotel. The Ecovilage is fascinating. I went for a long walk in the fields and enjoyed the sense of being... More

Stayed here for two nights in January and could not have asked for a cozier place to shelter from the winter weather. The room is warm and relaxing, with a lovely view of the land. The bed is very comfortable-covered by a handmade quilt and the bookshelves are full of literature on sustainability, ecology, and the Ithaca community. There are... More

An idyllic place to stay. Ecovillage is a group of houses amid beautiful fields and gardens. The room was comfortable for two adults and a little one on an air mattress. Each morning we enjoyed breakfast of bagels, fresh local fruits (for example, grapes right off the vines outside), yogurt, and juice at one of the garden picnic tables. The... More

We stayed for three nights late July. The property is beautiful! My daughter and I took advantage of the trails to hike and she ran early morning. Her boyfriend loved the pond and the kayak. The vegetable garden was incredible. It was so much fun just walking outside and picking our own berries. Elan and family could not have been... More

The location was lovely and serene. The rooms are in a basement and it's nicely decorated, lots of books for reading the subject is nature and the environment. The kitchen area is small and the bathroom sink doubles as a kitchen sink. The kitchen table only seats 2 and even that's tight. The fridge is stocked with bagels, fruits and... More

There's no doubt that Ithaca is gorge(ous). At Frog's Way in Ithaca's Ecovillage we had the opportunity to re-experience Ithaca in a whole, new way! Nestled in the midst of meadows and tall trees, Ecovillage in Ithaca enables one to experience living in harmony with nature. The surroundings are quiet and sounds of nature abound. Yet, the B&B is located... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Lavender Room for two nights and three days in early June 2013. It’s a lovely room with a nice, peaceful view. The kitchen was well stocked with healthy coffee, tea, juices, breakfast items, and snacks. We didn’t need to ask for a thing while staying there. Everything was clean and welcoming! And bonus:... A friend and I recently stayed at Frog's Way while travelling through the Finger Lakes. The place was bright and airy, and it's location within EcoVillage Ithaca made it a fascinating place to stay. We walked around the village and found everyone very friendly. Owner Elan is friendly and gracious. There was ample food for breakfast, all organic and local.... More
