This is an old-school hotel circa 1990: basic accommodation in clean, reasonably well maintained rooms. The tv was old but the WiFi was good. The room was small but the housekeeping was fine. The worst element was the noisy air conditioning/heat unit. The location is good, a quiet spot about two miles from the Cornell campus and ten minutes drive... More

Small rooms but confortable bed and clean bathroom. Breakfast is included, and good internet connection. Receptionist very friendly and guide us around the area. Plantation bar is the nearest Pub from Hotel (1 mile) . Prices for room are cheaper comparing with others around.

This motel is a few miles outside of downtown Ithaca, but worth the trek for the value. The rooms were among the cleanest and freshest I've experienced--with comfortable beds and immaculate bathrooms, and the check-in and check-out experience was very pleasant. The young woman at the desk gave good recommendations about where to eat as well. The Internet and cable... More

I hate working in Ithaca the traffic is awful and you cannot get a good room for the price. This is an old motor lodge that has been updated. The place is clean but really small. The internet was strong and bed was fine. Breakfast was what you expected. This is the only salesman friendly price in the area unless... More

The previous reviews nicely sum up the Embassy Inn Motel. It's a very basic but clean and comfortable family motel that is well run and convenient to Cornell's campus. It's particularly close to the Cornell Plantations and North Campus. It will also be one of the least expensive options when staying in Ithaca (although it's relatively pricey for what you... More

This motel is not near any major attractions or on major interstates, so the rates are reasonable even in summer. We were stopping just overnight, arriving late and leaving early, so all we wanted was a comfortable and clean room, and the Embassy Inn was this exactly. The staff were friendly both when we checked in and when we left... More

We booked last minute for an en route stop, found the room as expected for this category of hotel, very basic but spotless. Breakfast includes cereals, fruit (bananas), selection of packaged pastries, tea, coffee ampnd there is a cappuccino machine.

This is a budget motel in a city of high end accommodations. I found it appealing on first sight. We were able to check in at 2:30. Our room was small but spotless. We had plenty of room for our things. One really nice feature was the coating on the window in the front of our room which made seeing... More

Older motel, but rooms up-dated and clean. Price was high ($110/night). Rooms are small and more like $60 would have been fair. However next place was $239 due to parents weekend at University. I guess the price goes up when there are events in the area. In-wall heater was very noisy and it was a newer unit. Had to turn... More

This is a small family-run motel. It is an older property, but appears to have been updated relatively recently, and, given that the owners actually live on the property, seems to be well-cared for (the parking lot was recently resurfaced, etc.). Some reviews have been critical about the price (we paid $99/night plus tax for 1 queen bed), but this... More
