Finally we are writing our review of Rosebarb Farm! Both our 12 yr old and 17 yr old were comfortable during our all too brief stay. They loved the pool and the chance to pick plums, and raspberries. Our daughter loved the time she spent with our warm and thoughtful hosts, Rita and Don—as did we—and the chickens, horses and... More

We stayed in Sep for 4 nights and thoroughly loved it. The cottage is perfect. We got to enjoy the pool, have fun on the farm and experience the Finger Lakes. Rita and Don are exceptional hosts. We'd highly recommend Rosebarb Farm!

Our second time round, and not much to say, other than: simply wonderful! Don & Rita are the most gracious hosts imaginable, with generous attention to detail. This summer visit allowed us to use the fantastic solar-heated pool and beautiful gazebo right outside of the cottage. Daughter had a blast with the animals, and harvesting the fresh, delicious produce. Lovely,... More

We truly enjoyed our 3 nights stay. What a wonderful experience for my two kids - 5 & 12. Little guy was very excited to find out where an egg comes from . My daughter liked the horses. I loved picking up raspberries ( what ever left over for a season), and my husband liked reading in little gazebo in... More

We stayed at the end of July for a couple of nights and our kids loved the experience. Rita greeted us from the moment we arrived and the kids warmed up to her right away. They helped pick eggs for he next morning's breakfast. She showed us the beautiful horses and told the kids that Don would take them for... More

RoseBarb Farm is one of the most unique lodging experiences our family has ever had! It's been a week since our family (two kids - 9 and 6) stayed three nights there and the kids are still talking about all the great stuff they did on the farm. It was definitely the highlight of their trip where we visited the... More

It had been 16 years since my last visit to the Finger Lakes Region. I wanted to be in a comfortable setting surrounded by beauty and under the care of thoughtful hosts. Rose Barb Farm, Rita and Don provided all of that, and more. My only regret is that I live 1,200 miles away, but any time I am back... More

My sister, granddaughter and I were off for our annual "girls vacation". After searching the Ithaca tour book and the internet, I found RoseBarb Farm. And what a find it was. Rita and Don are the most gracious hosts, very interesting to spend time with and a good source of adventures in the area. Even though we only had one... More

Our family stayed at the Rosebarb farm recently and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Courtesy of Rita and Don, our sons were able to have a memorable pony ride, eat an awesome french toast breakfast (one of the best french toast breakfasts we have ever had), feed the horses, pet and play with Rubia (a very friendly dog), and get... My family stayed at Rosebarb Farm for multiple days when visiting Ithaca. The cottage is homey, clean, and comfortable. Rita and Don were fantastic hosts, offering plenty of ideas to add to the itinerary. The horses, chickens, and of course Rubia (their fluffy polar bear-like dog) were an added benefit! It is a close drive to downtown Ithaca. There were... More
