The grounds were very well kept and the staff was very friendly. The sites are very small and odd shaped. They did allow us to pick our own site after we saw how small the original site was. Those were the very few pros about this campground. And now for the cons - The bathrooms definitely need upgrades such as... More

We stayed there for two nights in a pop-up and I wish we hadn't. If you like a campground with nice bathrooms, this is not the place. I give the bathrooms a rating of -2. The bathrooms at the nearby state parks are so much nicer. Overall the place was run down. The pool was a nice design and the... More

We stayed at Spruce Row for a weekend in one of their 2 rental cabins. The location is beautiful and the grounds were very clean. The cabins are very basic but since we don't want to sleep in a tent anymore they were more than enough for us, until we can finally buy our first travel trailer that is! THey... More

My wife and I, as well as another couple, camped for 4 nights in Aug 2013 at this campground. We had a really great time, the sites were very nice, the facilities were up to par, the pool was very nice. We were told, by a seasonal camper there, that there is new ownership and there have been improvements made... More

Stayed at this campground for 3 nights this summer over a holiday weekend. The front office staff were very accommodating and friendly. Bathrooms could be a little bit better but most campers either live there year round or have an RV that they use instead. We did not use the pool so I cannot comment on that part of the... More

We spent the 4th of July there. Not a great experience. Electric is soooo outdated. Our's kept tripping and we were only running one thing at a time. They told us we had 30 amps and when we got there we did not. None of the electrical panels were marked great to understand whose was whose. Someone of the permanent... More

Where do you start to describe this experience? No one at the office, a map of where to go was left - but it faced us wrong when we reached the site. We never did see any manager in 3 days. Water pressure is a myth, quiet hours are a joke, the 'bathrooms' laughably filthy, the shower - yes one... More

Wife and I spent several weeks @ Spruce Row, the lack of owner takng control of his property is a great downfall. Quiet hour starts @ 11:00 PM not the usual 10:00 PM? Campers are allowed to stay up until 2:30 - 3:30 AM and make noise and talk like it was the middle of the afternoon?? They may be... More

Terrible. Don't believe the website. The pool is filthy. The pond is starved of oxygen (wicked algal bloom), showers are outside with nothing more than corrugated metal walls, and the bathrooms are filthy. Go to a state park around here. I started at Buttermilk Falls last year, and it was small but nice...maybe a good option.

We just returned from two nights at Spruce Row Campground. First, the positives: The campground is very conveniently located to Ithaca and the state parks nearby. The campground is VERY quiet; even during daylight it is quiet and once it gets dark, all that can be heard is night noises. My ten year old enjoyed the swimming pool, the playground... More
