Everything was fine, but nothing was great. Expensive business center in case you wanted to print anything out. Only soap in the bathroom, no shampoo, conditioner, lotion. Ithaca is a great place to visit & Country Inn & Suites offered exactly what we were looking for for our one-night stay. Our room was clean, spacious, and had 1st class bedding (comforter & pillows). Stayed here with daughter while visiting Ithaca College. Hotel is recently updated and the rooms are spacious, clean and updated. The beds were extremely comfortable with really nice down style comforters. Very, very close to Ithaca College. Breakfast was better than average, even though it was crowded when we went. I would defiinitely stay here again. more

We stayed here for a college visit. It was very close to Cornell 8 min away. They had a delicious bfast with fresh waffles. cookies as you came in. Coffee in the lobby was not so hot. After staying here in October and having a problem management finally responded with a free night next time we were in the area. We came back and found everything OK here. This was the best stay I have ever had in Ithaca. I usually stay downtown at another hotel, but thought I would try this new one and loved it. The staff was wonderful, rooms were clean, and the shuttle was perfect for my appointment. I will be back. Glad I tried this hotel. more

Apparently this hotel has a policy of overbooking rooms. Maybe this is common practice in the industry, but the way this hotel handles it is very wrong. They basically informed us that they were overbooked and we did not have a room ... when we showed up to check in at about 3:30 p.m.! This is after securing the room... more
