After reading good reviews about Nelson's Cottages, I thought we would give it a try and even keep Nelson's in mind for a possible week in the summer possibly for more than one cabin. I spoke to the owner on Thursday and reserved a cabin for my husband and I for Saturday, two days later. I gave her my full... More

was not happy with this place...we usually stay at B&B's and now I know why I do....this place was very very small. the sheets on the bed were like sand paper...I did notify the owner the next morning and they did give us better sheets and the towels could of stood up by themselves...that's how stiff they were. we would... The cottages are small but adequate. No extras, but we didn't expect there to be. It is what it says, a cabin in the Adirondacks. Campfire at night, other campers were friendly, Clean. I didn't see the staff, but they were nice on the phone. Coffee was available for a few hours in the morning, but if you were not... More

We stayed at Nelson's Cottages for only one night, but we enjoyed the time we had there. The owners are very nice and the cottage was clean. It is an easy and pleasant walk into town. We will definitely return.

We recently stayed at the "Kentucky Cottage" at Nelson's Cottages in Inlet, NY. My wife and I had a wonderful time. The cottages were clean and contained all the items needed to make our stay comfortable. We kayaked, fished, climbed Bald and Blue Mountains, went to the Adirondack Museum, the Art Museum (VIEW), Brown Tract Ponds, ate breakfast and dinner... More

Had a pleasant 2 night stay in one of the motel unit cottages which were all very cute, not fancy and quite tiny. It was wonderful to be close to great paddling without much driving. Also has good access to the TOBIE trail for walking, cycling, etc. We were able to walk into town for a great dinner at the... More

The Nelson's were most accomodating in helping find a cottage on short notice. Although a short stay it was very nice, pleasant and expect to return again in the future. Thank you again for your help on a busy holiday weekend.

It find it to be a catch 22 when reviewing things in the Adirondacks. I want them to be my best kept secrets, but at the same time I want my favorite places to thrive. Nelson's Cottages is one of those places. This is mine and my wife's second visit to Nelson's because they were absolutely perfect last time. This... More

Me and mydaughter had been planning our vacation together for months. When we were checking on our reservations we had made months earlier we found that the hotel had double booked and since we were only staying three nights and the other was for a week we were out. I had searched for days trying to find a new place... More
