We spent a wonderful week at Camp Driiftwood last August. This camp is old-school. We had a cozy woodsy cabin with a wood stove and a fire pit. The beds were lovely. The kitchen was equipped for cabin cooking, no food processor, but plenty of what you need when you're at camp. The cabins are separated by natural areas so... More

My boyfriend and I have been coming to Camp Driftwood two or three times a year for the past 4 years. We love staying at these beautifully crafted wood cabins that are built right on the water, with amazing views of Indian Lake, access to canoes, and outdoor stone barbecues. John and his wife are extremely accommodating hosts who've clearly... More

We've been going to the camp happily for a decade. Their newest cabin, Chestnut, was wonderful. Wood burning stove, pine interior, airy, large screened porch, and great view of the lake. We canoed, hiked, fished, watched stars and left noisy, stressful society behind for a spell. We will be back again. Ed M.

Loved our little cabin. Very peaceful and plenty to keep us busy for a 3-4 day autumn stay. Hosts were very helpful and accessible. Cabin was spotless. In addition to linens, you'll need bar and dish soap and a couple of rolls of toilet paper.

It was my fiance's birthday and as a surprise to him, I booked a stay in the Hemlock cabin. It was quite a nice, well-equipped cabin with a secluded view of the lake. It was charming, rustic, and romantic. He loved it almost as much as his dog. Neat and clean, so small, but a lot of room. The only... More

Me, my boyfriend, and our two dogs stayed in Hemlock cabin for two nights over Memorial Day weekend. The cabin was extremely charming and more spacious than it looks, there was a second bedroom that we never used. The dogs loved hanging out on the porch. Our whole stay was extremely peaceful and quiet.

My family of four just wrapped up our third stay at Camp Driftwood. My youngest is almost 2 years-old, and his brother is 5. My 5 year-old and I love to borrow a two-seater kayak and row out on the lake to go exploring. We switched cabins from "Apple," which is lovely, to "Birch" this year. Both cabins are beautiful... I stayed in Hemlock cabin for a few days near the end of August 2013. The people who own the camp were helpful and very nice. My cabin was clean, neat and very cute. I loved it. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was nice. I loved the porch. I loved the furniture. I had a nice view.... More

Maple Cabin in September with 2 dogs & a baby worked out just fine! Very peaceful, the cabin was quite large and roomier than expected, the screened in porch was awesome! If you want peace and quiet in a rustic classic Adirondack retreat this is the place!

This was our second visit to Camp Driftwood, and we had a great time again. They offer a lot to do, making this a good value if you're looking for a week in a rustic cabin by a beautiful lake. They have lots of paddles, boats, and swimming toys available for as long or short as you want them for.... More
