We had a great time! We stayed in Apple. The cabins are cozy, clean, simple, and comfortable. Great view, private, centrally located for lots of hiking and kayaking! Can't wait to go back this summer for a longer stay. So many hikes so little time.

Having spent my childhood summers camping at Indian Lake, often with my cousin and my Aunt, my husband and I flew to Syracuse to take my cousin and my 90 year old Aunt for an overnight in Indian Lake. My Aunt's fondest memory was the campfires and we knew she would be so happy to sit in front of a... More

The camp is nestled in the woods away from the road. I instantly felt this peaceful and welcoming feeling. My husband, son, and I were greeted by the owner and she gave us a quick tour and told us to let her know if we needed anything, I greatly appreciated that. Our cabin was the first one on the left "The... More

What a pleasant surprise at such a great price! Upon very later arrival, we found the porch light on to welcome us. A stone path let us past our personal fire pit to the first outter porch, then the screen porch and finally into the glowing floor to ceiling knotty pine cabin. Beautiful, cozy. We sleep like logs on the... More

We had a very pleasant week at Camp Driftwood. My only complaint is that our cabin was not directly on the water. We had about a 5 minute walk to the water/docks. There are plenty of kayaks and canoes for all the guests, which made for some great daily paddling! Indian Lake is quite large with plenty of beautiful areas... More

This was a perfect place to take my 2 teenagers and 2 of their friends. I have done a lot of camping in various conditions and didn't want to do that with other peoples kids yet. This wasn't camping- this was house renting! We stayed in Apple- not directly on the water but with a view of the lake. 3BR... More

We spent a wonderful week at Camp Driiftwood last August. This camp is old-school. We had a cozy woodsy cabin with a wood stove and a fire pit. The beds were lovely. The kitchen was equipped for cabin cooking, no food processor, but plenty of what you need when you're at camp. The cabins are separated by natural areas so... More

My boyfriend and I have been coming to Camp Driftwood two or three times a year for the past 4 years. We love staying at these beautifully crafted wood cabins that are built right on the water, with amazing views of Indian Lake, access to canoes, and outdoor stone barbecues. John and his wife are extremely accommodating hosts who've clearly... More

We've been going to the camp happily for a decade. Their newest cabin, Chestnut, was wonderful. Wood burning stove, pine interior, airy, large screened porch, and great view of the lake. We canoed, hiked, fished, watched stars and left noisy, stressful society behind for a spell. We will be back again. Ed M.

Loved our little cabin. Very peaceful and plenty to keep us busy for a 3-4 day autumn stay. Hosts were very helpful and accessible. Cabin was spotless. In addition to linens, you'll need bar and dish soap and a couple of rolls of toilet paper.
