My wife and I stayed in the Poplar cabin and we enjoyed it very much. We were looking for a cabin to rent for several days to get away and relax and Camp Driftwood fit the bill perfectly. The cabin we stayed in was clean and beautifully rustic. It had three rooms (plus a "loft" where you can sleep up... More

We stayed at Camp Driftwood for a week in October of 2012. As it happened, it was peak week for fall foliage and amazingly beautiful. We were in the Poplar cabin which was spacious and had plenty of room for the children and ourselves. The kitchen was nice and open to living/dining area. The children really enjoyed the loft sleeping... More

We had a fabulous shoulder season two night visit to this delightful rustic camp. We were the only guests for most of our visit, so we pretty much had the run of the place. Plenty of free kayaks and other boats to borrow during the trip. And the little fire pit on the edge of the lake was heaven.

We're thrilled Jon and his Camp Driftwood had room for our small group (6 of us) over the Columbus Day holiday on such short notice...a month out we were scrambling to find a place on Indian Lake. Every detail has been carefully thought out and over the many years in business they know what a stay in a cabin/camp in... More

Columbus Day Weekend 2012 Sometimes my girlfriend and I have a hard time submitting a review on Trip Advisor. When we love a place, we don’t want anyone else to know about “our” favorite retreat. We decided to submit a review because we were in shock reading a few of the other reviews for Driftwood. To us, anything but a... More

We just spent a 3-day weekend on Labor day weekend, staying at Camp Driftwood and we are already talking about going back! We stayed at The Cedar cabin. It sleeps 5 and it is lakefront! It is no Ritz-Carlton and one should not expect it to be like a 5-star hotel. It is a very basic and rustic cabin. This... More

The Driftwood Cabins are awful. We did something that I have never done anywhere else - we actually left mid-week (with two small children!) and looked for a different place to stay. We stayed in the Hemlock Cabin. The cabin was TINY (and we are from NYC so we are used to small living spaces), living area and bedrooms were... More

Not sure exactly what prompted this spiteful review, but I hope these folks find happiness somewhere. When this guest woke me up early for matches, after their late night arrival, all I could find were my wife's pack from her cigarettes. I mentioned that she might want them back later that morning, and told the guest where to find the... More

The Poplar cabin was clean, spacious, and fairly new, but it is furthest from lake requiring a 5-7 minute hike on steep trail. The Willow next door was cramped with a tiny dysfunctional kitchen and not a single closet for storage. I do not recommend the Willow. Both cabins had separate unmarked entrances which made it difficult to find and dangerous... More

We have been spending a week in July at Camp Driftwood for the past 7 years. We love it. It is an opportunity to enjoy a lovely pristine setting. If you want to get away from TV and everyday static, you might consider CD. (wifi is usually available on the office verandah: cell phone service is spotty)The cabins vary on... More

I was looking for an excursion away from urban civilization, work, computers, email, and so forth - a week along with my girlfriend. I stayed in the Apple cabin from February 19th-24th. We had a great time relaxing in front of the warm fireplace/stove, reading books and drinking wine. It was nice to get away from the world, with no... More
