We booked a last-minute one-night getaway stay at the Fairlawn Inn on 1/30-1/31 for the Glenwood Room. The Inn is beautiful, meticulously maintained, and the breakfast was excellent. Chuck was very cordial, and an exemplary host. He went way above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I have been in all 50 states in the USA. We have been in many hotels, motels, condos, B & B's. This inn was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in. It could have been a set in a movie. The innkeeper, Chuck, was professional and very accommodating. Every detail to make our... More

My wife and I went for a one night stay in January to do some skiing at Hunter. We stay in the rose room and received the package deal for ski tickets which was definitely worth it. The place is wonderful. So much character in everything room. We loved the fine wood work and beautiful plants throughout the house. The... More

Lovely old building, nicely restored; welcoming and convivial host (go, Chuck!); large shared space with plenty of sitting space, pool table etc; and superb breakfasts that delight the palate and keep you going all day. What more could you want?

We were looking for a B&B in Hunter and the place we were Attracted to was the Fairlawn Inn We sure were not disappointed. Chuck the Inn Keeper and owner has done a remarkable Job in turning this old mansion into a showplace. He does his very best to accommodate his guests to the area And what breakfasts. It's like... I recently stayed here while visiting my daughter who was attending a music camp in Hunter. It is a beautiful building with a number of rooms, communal living space indoors and outdoors and great breakfast. A number of choices were offered. My daughter and I had omelettes and enjoyed them immensely.

We stayed 1 night in this beautiful B & B & we were very happy that we came upon it. The walls are full of gorgeous artwork. The woodwork of this 110 year old house is beautiful and everywhere you look you'll see something interesting. Chuck, the innkeeper, gave us advice on where to have dinner & that was a... More

My eyes have been opened to what a B&B can be if chose properly. This is more of an inn style then a traditional B&B from what I can gather. The rooms were spacious and the proprietor was welcoming. We stayed as part of our "Catskills Adventure" trip and used it as a jump off point for our trip. Although... More
