Going away with friends? Ever wanted privacy and your own bathroom on a crowded getaway? Very spacious main house - and a secondary cute cottage which seems like a tree house. Exceptional living and relaxing quarters for large groups. Very homely and lots and lots of space. Your whole group can sit outside on the patio for hours on end.... More

Most places deliver a view and not much else. Stanbrook Manor is the Hudson Valley gem, especially for Mountain Jam. Here's why. The house is well accommodated, with a barbeque grill, deck, 1 acre of lawn, natural features, path to the Schoharie Creek, and did I mention the one mile hike along the back road, if you so desire. You... More

Stayed here with family and friends during February, 2011. Large, clean house but be weary of the Owner. Owner enters the rented house when she assumes no one will be occupying the house. Creepy! Make sure you get a copy of the lease way in advance.

I traveled with a group of about 18 people. We rented the house for a weekend and we had an amazing time! The owner was very friendly and patient with us. The house was very clean and has more than enough space, the pics of the house make it look a little smaller but for our group we had ample... More

I stayed here with a group of approximately 20 graduate students on a weekend in January. The house was easy to find, very clean, spacious, and close to the mountain. It was also relatively cheap. We were never informed that we had to buy our own amenities (e.g. toilet paper!) so we all arrived and only realized that we had... More

The house was rented as a weekend rental not as a Bed and Breakfast. Weekend rentals include sheets and towels but no other amenities. It was stated on the website. We offer budget but clean and beautiful lodging facilities and do take security deposits. It was unfortunate that one of the faucets was damaged and it was surely covered under... More

We stayed at the Stanbrook Manor this Jan. we had a wonderful experience. The owner is really friendly and the room was terrific everything was new and the breakfast was great. The place is under priced and we had a great ime sking. Was also really close to hunter mountain and ski Windham. Was extremely clean and comfortable.

This B&B is just getting started (note ths signs in magic marker). The hostess is extremely friendly, and the place is certainly a resonable place to rest your head for the evening. There is a very nice common living room. The bedroom we had was fine, but it was a bit drafty in April, so I'd hope they crank the... More
