This Inn was a perfectly cozy place to stay for our spring break ski vacation. The staff was more than accommodating in meeting our needs. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was delicious giving us more food than we could have eaten. We liked that we did not get the 'chain' hotel experience but the home away from home... More

We checked in for one night to ski hunter the next day. We checked in late and the first standard room we were given was not cleaned. Bed undone, dirty glasses, etc. The front desk gave us their "cushion" room for mishaps like this. We were pleasantly surprised with the new upstairs room which was spacious with a loft with... First of all the room smells like my grandma from 1975. Secondly we got to the hotel late. Tired. Thirsty. The hotel had no water in the vending machine and the guy at the front desk "oh well if it's out on your floor and the main floor then..... we don't have any.." duh.

Good: large room, nice lounge area with fireplace, ok breakfast, 5-6 happy hour, complementary coffee. Bad: No wifi in room, wifi in lobby/lounge/bar area doesn't work most of the time, very frustrating.

We booked a room a month ago and they sent us an email 3 days before our trip saying they did not have a room ! They claim they called (but "were not sure we got the message") Very very poor customer service and attitude . Do not trust them to have a good time , they will ruin it... More

We called in and made a reservation very easily. Close to the mountain, bar on site, hot tub, and buffet breakfast is what was promised. The room we had was clean and the beds were in order. Our complaint comes from the promised breakfast buffet. We arrived to find the serving containers out on the tables empty. We were told... More

We have been coming to Hunter Inn for years....mostly because if the proximity to the mountain. We have consciously overlooked the run down, shabby rooms (peeling paint, dirt under night tables, bad beds and sheets) because of the charm of the lobby, the ok breakfast and the convenience. This past stay, however, really angered us. Our family of 5 stayed... More

My family and I booked 2 rooms at the Hunter Inn for one of the annual Oktoberfest's on Hunter Mountain. It turned out to be amazing! Great service, even though the hotel was booked. Game room and TV room are awesome for the kids. The best part was the included breakfast buffet! So many options, such a great deal! We... More

We came expecting a scrubby motel and found a warm and inviting lobby, bar, and staff. The rooms are average for a motel but the lobby, lounge, and game room made up for them. It was a great stay for our 3- and 5-year olds. There are always hot coffee and tea in the lobby as well as fruit and... More

I stopped by Catskills and was looking for a clean place to rest my head and was recommended this place. Quaint place for sure and has an old charm especially in the lobby. Functional place and geared for travelers passing by and looking for friendly and home kind of atmosphere with breakfast included. Rooms are large and spacious with clean... More
