They are only open on the weekends in the Summertime. I stayed there with 6 motorcycling friends. When we arrived it was raining and the front desk associate allowed us to leave our motorcycles under the portico. Very friendly staff, rooms were clean, bathrooms a littler dated, could us new shower heads. Great views of the mountains. In the morning... More

My only problem with this location is that they don't have a pool. Other than that, the staff is beyond accommodating, they've been going out of their way to make out stay great. The rooms are clean, the balcony view is beautiful (we are hoping to see some wildlife,) there is coffee as tea available all day, a delicious continental... More

Went up last weekend for Taste of Country Music Festival with friends. I read a lot of reviews on here, so I was a little leary with some of the bad things people had to say. In our experience, the Inn was just fine. It was a little further from the mountain than we expected, but by the third day,... More

We stay at The Hunter Inn every year because it's very convenient to Hunter Mountain & the staff are very friendly & helpful. The rooms are very large. It's not a fancy place but it's very comfortable. Nice seating area with a large fireplace. Excellent breakfast! We recommend upgrades to improve Wi-fi access as you need to go to the... More

My brother and I have been staying at Hunter Inn for the past 8 years during Tap Fest weekend. We can honestly say that the staff has always been friendly, the room has always been clean and the restaurant's food has always been very good! Good water pressure in the room, and excellent breakfast buffet that is included with your... More

This is our third Tap NY and third consecutive year staying here. The first two years I thought it was okay. This hotel is obviously nothing special, but then again there is really not much around this area. This year, though, I have had it with this "inn." To begin with, there was no maid service on Saturday. We were... More

I read a lot of negative things here about the Hunter Inn, cold water, not enough heat, unfriendly staff, etc. From our experience there this past weekend, I can tell you that the room was very clean, plenty of heat and hot water, and the staff was very friendly. First time stay here, but will definitely come again. Close to... More

I've been going there on and off for the last 15 years. Whenever there is a Taps NY festival or Oktoberfest, the staff is very friendly and check in/out is easy. Their breakfast is like no other. Cheers

This Inn was a perfectly cozy place to stay for our spring break ski vacation. The staff was more than accommodating in meeting our needs. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was delicious giving us more food than we could have eaten. We liked that we did not get the 'chain' hotel experience but the home away from home... More

We checked in for one night to ski hunter the next day. We checked in late and the first standard room we were given was not cleaned. Bed undone, dirty glasses, etc. The front desk gave us their "cushion" room for mishaps like this. We were pleasantly surprised with the new upstairs room which was spacious with a loft with...
