This makes our 6th (7th?) visit and 3rd review of the Kaatskill Mountain Club since we first discovered it from the Hunter Mountain ski lift. I must say overall they've done a good job keeping the place up. The hotel is 10 years old this year and you always hope the owners will not let a place get run down... More

We stayed in a 1 bedroom condo. The kitchen was well appointed and it had a gas fireplace. Bathroom was okay. It was nice to be able to walk back and forth to the German Festival. The front desk was very accommodating. All in all it was a very nice time.

We were here for a weekend to take flyfishing lessons. The place is really, really nice. It has its flaws, but there was such a nice ambiance that I forgive its flaws. The staff was always so friendly and helpful. The room was really inviting and in good condition. One of the flaws, though, is that when you stay in... More

I love this place! The best features are the pool, hottube, arcade, workout place, the suites, and the food here. This has everything here and the workers are so nice. they have smores every night. The views are amazngs. They cant get better. You meet so many different people. The guy who did smores was amazing. he was the best!

Spend a week here as my son was taking Bagpipe lessons all week at the base lodge of Hunter Mountain. We had a room with a kitchen and it was very nice. We had a room opposite the mountain and the view, even from the 2nd floor was awesome. Had a balcony too!! Rooms were clean, had a flat screen... More

I recently stayed at the Kaatskill Mountin Club in Hunter, NY. This was a gem of a place to stay - the condo's were great. Even the single rooms had a kitchenette in it. The Rip Van Winkle pub was great and had wonderful food. They have great hiking trails, zip lines and other things to do. I totally enjoyed... More

I recently stayed in the two bedroom suite for two nights, while my family attended a wedding. We had a wonderful stay and positive overall hotel experience. The staff, and resort certainty meet a travelers expectations. There is ample parking, and friendly front desk staff there to greet you and help you check in. A large and very comfortable lobby... Stayed here for Country Fest and location wise you are within walking distance to the stage. We had a two room/two floor condo. Rooms are big and spacious. The master bed was literally 6 inches off the floor. The furniture was from the 80's. The TV in the family room was an old Tube TV a bit outdated and didn't... More

Decent stay but some things to complain about. First I was told that there were no rooms with two double beds when I tried to book. That seemed very odd and I thought maybe it was a small hotel but that isn't the case. Maybe the rooms for the wedding I attended were limited, ether way it seems odd. Second,... More

But it was very quiet, except for the wedding we were attending. I'm sure the winter scene is wonderful. Hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful, especially Tracy the event manager and David who very kindly drove me up (and down) the mountain, as I'm not one for ski lifts and heights. Probably the only time... More
