I continue to enjoy visiting the Union Street Guest House. I have been staying here once a year for about six years. It feels like visiting the home of a family member when I stay here. This boutique hotel is located in a series of period homes on Union Street, which is a block away from the shopping and eating... More

My husband and I booked this the Union Street Guest House as part of a planned weekend away in Hudson, NY. It was recommended in NY Magazine's travel profile of Hudson. They've never steered me wrong before so I booked when I found an affordable option with a king size bed. It didn't start out well as you must agree... More

they charge you 100% at the time that you make your reservation -- bad sign. tried to modify my reservation and despite calling/e-mailing over a dozen times received no reply until the day of my stay to notify me that my reservation was confirmed. They also "upgraded" me -- to a room with a smaller bed. thanks a lot. overpriced... More

The Union Street Guest house is one of the most dishonest merchants/service providers that we have dealt with in quite some time. My wife and I loved our weekend in Hudson and hope to come back to this great town as soon as possible. We loved the restaurants, shops, spa, the Inn at Ca’ Mea and the relaxed vibe that... More

We had such a lovely time. Our room- The Library Suite- was beautiful. The host that greeted us was very friendly and very helpful in telling us good places to go. We have pretty high standards about where we stay, and I had honestly not done much research before booking- we need a one night only, most places in Beacon... More

No wonder prices cannot be found for this place. Overpriced for what you get unless you like outdated decor. Skip this one. It seems like the attitude of the management/owner rubs off on the staff, so if you'd like being treated as a customer and with better respect, definitely worth checking out many of the other fine places in the... On a sisters weekend we stayed at the Bainbridge Suite, a two bedroom room. It was generally lovely. The negatives were that one towel was dirty, we were not given enough toilet paper, and there was no maid service on our second day. The check in went well and the manager helped me with my bags. My overall feeling is... More

I stayed here for a wedding and it was the worst experience of my life. Everyone on here has been talking about the service which I agree was absolutely terrible, but I also thought the actual grounds weren't that nice. Rooms were small and outdated. Of course I was expecting quaint (which I like) but this felt more like a... More

Stayed there is august and were disappointed. Rude service at check in. Bad smell, some sort of old and foul odor. Overpriced for what you get. There are far better places for a weekend get away. Overall a big disappointment as we were excited for a romantic weekend.
