By far, one of my best guest experience I have had. The Inn is by itself a piece of architectural jewel and the interior decoration takes you back to the 19th century. The hosts, Marie and Robert, are extremely caring and make sure one gets the best out of the stay. Breakfast options are incredible, a tasty way to start... More

My wife and I stayed at the Inn at 240 in Hudson, NY. A beautiful boutique B&B. From the moment we arrived, the proprietors, Robert and Marie made us feel at home and comfortable. The Inn is lovingly decorated in tasteful English period furniture. Stiff as it sounds, every chair, couch and especially the bed was very comfortable. We really... More

We stayed a night in February, everything was perfect. Robert and Marie were extremely nice and helpful, and even picked us up and dropped us off at the train station because it was so cold. They recommended a great restaurant, and were very knowledgeable about the history of the town. Our room was clean and comfortable and they were so... More

This is the most beautifully furnished Inn I have ever seen. Both the guest rooms and the public spaces are exquisite. Besides the gorgeous decor the Inn has fabulous amenities including: fast wifi, fluffy robes, superior lighting, bottled water in the rooms, toiletries, magazines, books, etc. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were lovely. Really just go. You won't be... More

My husband and I just took a 3 day weekend in Hudson, staying at the Inn at 240, and we feel as though we were away for a week a million miles from our home. The inn is a wonderful respite from the present tense as it is furnished with a combination of beautiful real and reproduction antiques. I felt... More

We had a wonderful stay at the bed and breakfast. Bob was so helpful and thoughtful with information and delicious food. It's just a block and a half to Warren Street with all of the restaurants and shops. Bob booked us into a lovely restaurant for dinner, designed a terrific 10 mile bike route to take, and fed us before... More

We enjoyed your visit and talking about our shared passion for cycling. Columbia County really is a spectacular place to explore on a bicycle. During the fall we'll be leading rides through the countryside to enjoy the color and crisp air. Do join us again! Robert & Marie More

Beautifully decorated, homey B & B with charming, helpful, informative owners. Tea and cookies in the afternoon, coffee cake for early risers and wonderful breakfasts using locally sourced food, fresh from the farmers market. The inn is conveniently located not far from the Amtrak station, in walking distance to great restaurants, unusual shops, galleries and picturesque 19th century buildings. Bob,... More

An absolutely wonderful place to stay over night, as well as for an extended stay. Not inexpensive, but is worth every penny. Incredible attention to detail, beautifully furnished suites. Yes, the house is charming. Yes, the decorating is extraordinary. And yes, unless you have way too much self control, you will eat more than you usually do at breakfast. But what really sets The Inn at 240 apart is the hosts: Bob and Marie (and Charlie!). Simply put, they will make your stay exceptional. Check your bank account before... More
