We have just used Mount Merino Manor as our base during a short exploration of the Hudson Valley, originally booking for one night. This became three, in part because of the interest of the area, in part because of the outstanding quality of MMM. Absolutely everything is right about this place, which provides 21st-century levels of comfort in a beautifully... More

Mount Merino Manor is an ideal headquarters for visiting the art galleries and antique shops in Hudson. It stands on a hill overlooking a scene that might have been painted by Hudson River School artist Frederic Edwin Church, whose NY State Historic Site Olana is 5-minutes away by car (and not to be missed). Sit on a wicker chair on... More

Approaching the manor house, after turning off the road and onto its gravel drive, is like something out of a period film. Inside and out, Mount Merino Manor exudes charm, comfort and luxury. Not enough can be said! The staff is incredibly accommodating, the breakfasts as delicious as they are filling and beautifully presented, the grounds spacious and well-kept, and... More

Our stay of two nights was our first stay here. Our room (Blue Mountain View) was spacious, very comfortable, and furnished with beautiful antiques. All of the little touches (quality of towels, soap, bedding, etc) were outstanding. The bathroom was large and had a wonderful spa shower. The view from the room was truly spectacular (I have added a picture... More

Our fourth time staying here. Accommodations are terrific but stay away from the 3 rd floor (particularly facing East). It is a real hike that will leave you breathless. Breakfast is fantastic. Staff is helpful when asked. Rooms are spotless and bedding is comfortable.

My husband and I stayed in Isabel's Parlor and it was perfect! We loved the room, we loved the area, and we loved the breakfast. I'm a very picky eater and the inn was accommodating and tailored breakfast to my needs. Food was delicious! Will definitely return for another stay.

Unfortunately we could not enjoy the beautiful grounds because soon after our arrival it started to rain. This beautiful Inn has a great view of the mountains. When you enter the Inn you seen a property that is tastefully decorated in bright but peaceful colours. We were warmly greeted and shown around the Inn and explained the different areas of... More

We stayed for 3 nights in July '14. Our room was the Master Sabine. Excellent room with a great view and super large bathroom, with Spa and separate shower. Breakfast each morning was excellent. We are tough critics with over 100 nights in B &B's. We went sightseeing to Hyde Park two days, easy, scenic drive and about 1/2 hour.... More

This bed and breakfast was perfect in every way. It is actually one of the most beautiful bed and breakfasts we have ever stayed in, the grounds are incredible, the porch is such a wonderful treat in the summer, and the service was impeccable. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated with a great big soaking tub. Breakfast the next... More

My boyfriend and I wanted a quick weekend getaway. This gem just a short drive from NYC was exactly what we wanted! We stayed in the Eagle's Nest room on the second floor. Great breakfast, accommodations and fantastic, friendly service! Every detail had comfort and relaxation in mind (including fresh chocolate cookies left in kitchen for guests). Fantastic job by...
