Staff was very friendly. We asked for a room "around the back" because of our pet, we got it with no problem. Even unlocked the pool for us before it's posted hours. Cleanliness was acceptable, and I am very picky. Older style hotel where you park by your door. But, when you have a pet (in our case, a 75... More

Disgusting, dirty, broken mirrors, mildew, stains... Plastic counter tops in the bathroom... Rude front desk with food stains on her t-shirt... Absolute nightmare of a place... Allergies were so bad from even minutes of being there... Had to book a different room at another hotel... You are better off camping somewhere... Doesn't even deserve a full one star... AND... for... More

Despite the '70's decor, the room was very clean and adequate. All of the basic amenities you need are there and in working order. Staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was basic, but included in the price. I would recommend this motel if you need a clean, quiet place to plop your head.

You get what you pay for, but the quality is excellent for the price. The complex hotel is very nice where it is kind of secluded just off the main road. You get motel style rooms where you get to park your car right at your rooms door. The room is decent size, and clean with your the standard toiletries.... More

Overall, an excellent place to stay. We were close to Corning, Ithaca, and Watkins Glen, yet were out of congested town areas. This motel is a nice merge of old style, drive-up-to-door motel with modern card locks and breakfast in motel lobby. The owners were very engaging and helpful, clearly trying to be of service to the guests. We stayed... More

This is an older hotel, and in some ways it is rather dated looking but overall it is a good, clean, inexpensive place to stay. The room was a decent size, the bathroom was good sized, there was a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and iron/ironing board. The linens may not have been the best but they were more than adequate... More

It was inexpensive by NY standards. It had a mini-fridge and microwave in the room. The shower head was good. I wanted to like this place, and you can see from my other reviews that I try to look at the positive in places, but the roach crawling across the bathroom floor, the chirping smoke detector when I checked in... Older hotel with smaller rooms. Very clean (spotless, really) and quiet. Nice front desk staff. Not a bad "go to" place when the hotels in town (Corning) revert to their summer time ripoff prices. Only downside is that there's not much within walking distance except a local restaurant at the front of the property. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

My wife and I spent our anniversary weekend in the area; stopped at a few wineries, walked around Watkins Glen State Park, took a boat ride on Seneca Lake, went to dinner, movie, etc...our anniversary weekend happens to fall on Columbus Day weekend as well, so trying to get a room at a hotel/motel/bed and breakfast in Watkins Glen or...
