I stayed at Quinta Santiago with my mother and aunt. It was just what we were looking for -- quiet, quaint, and in the heart of the historical center. If you're looking for a hopping spot with a bar, go elsewhere. (The bar at the Gran Hotel seemed to be one of the most popular places in town.) Quinta Santiago... More

What a surprise! The 1700's convent has been converted into an interesting hotel. The room was huge with a king bed, shower only, TV with CNN and American Network, hairdryer and soaps. Breakfast was included and they offered bacon & eggs, pancakes, fruit, etc. There was uneven water temperature in the shower and the sink was high so I had... More

The Hotel Santiago is a very nice place, in a good location to see a lot of the sites in Queretaro. We paid $102 per night for a room with a queen/king size bed, including breakfast buffet. The hotel appears to have been remodeled recently and the rooms are very modern and nice. Our room had no window, but excellent... More

The Quinta Santiago is located a few short blocks (a five minute walk) from the city center of Queretaro. Its exterior is misleading, but the interior is spacious and delightful. A converted colonial building, the Quinta Santiago has its rooms built around two large courtyards, one of which features a small restaurant. The rooms are spacious, with large showers, desks... We certainly enjoyed our three days this month in this hotel (and in Queretero, the cleanest city I've seen anyplace in the world). We arrived from a lavishly and colorfully decorated B&B in Tlaquepaque (Guadalajara), and at first blush Quinta Santiago seemed a step or two down, but on closer examination it was clear that this appearance was due entirely... Based on Tripadvisor reviews I chose this hotel, and was quite happy. Having arrived around 11pm on my first day, I stayed at the Hidalgo, then moved here the next morning. Quite a change (on my way back, I stayed at the Casa de la Marquesa -the Quinta Santiago is a better deal). I love the old colonial style, and... More

All we needed was one night before an uncivilized early flight time back to the USA. The Quinta Santiago made it quite enjoyable. The manager(I think) greeted us in such a friendly way that we weren't sure. They had a FREE phone to call home . The rooms were spacious but very plain. The bathroom and dressing room were all... I stayed and the Quinta Santiago for three nights and was very satisfied with the hotel. The room was large, had a large counter in the bath, a large shower but no bath. The hotel offers free internet service from two terminals next to the front desk and free internet phone calls to U.S. and Canada. The location is excellent.... More
