Small scale hotel, very nice room with view on the great pool and garden. Beds are a bit on the hard site, at least for a European that is used to a softer bed, but by far compensated by the size and decoration of the room.

This hotel is ideal for both relaxing retreats and a romantic couple getaway. We had dinner in "La Cava" and while food was good it was the atmosphere that did it for us. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms are great. The Spa is OK, though not outstanding. Location is perfect as it's walking distance form the city center.

Too bad I couldn't sleep. Their beds are so hard, I felt as though there was no mattress. It is well located downtown in the historic area, a nice garden, and a not very good restaurant. Queretaro is a beautiful place there is a great Oaxacan restaurant a half a block away.

Our four night stay was a highlight of our time in Mexico. The restaurant food and service was excellent, our suite fantastic and the grounds of the hotel wonderful. The spa treatments were great and very well priced. And being situated in the city centre, it's easy to venture out to sites and restaurants. We will definitely be back.
