It might be a little difficult to find, with minimum signage and the barn doors closed late at night, but inside is a fantastic low-rise hotel. Staff are great, rooms beautifully appointed and maintained. Only criticism is that noise can transfer into rooms from outside (other guests), for instance when wheeling suitcases along the tiled corridors, or just groups conversing... More

This is a lovely little Gem. The rooms are very beautiful, and well equipped. The hotel is small and feels homely. Staff were all very kind. I did not (unfortunately) have a chance to visit the spa... I could not hear any noise (despite the fact that the hard floors in the corridors may help sound travel). Waking up to... More

I have owned a travel agency for 30 years and have stayed in many hotels. The Dona Urraca was so unique. It was so clean! The location was perfect. Just a short stroll the the centre of the historic district, which is filled with locals, especially on the weekends. We loved it there.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in the junior suite and we loved it. The room was very spacious, had really nice amenities and we did not hear any of the noise that people here have been complaining about. It is a small nice hotel, close to the center of town which is great and not too far... More

Awful smell from poor or old drainage made our room smell terrible! Poor service and if you consider staying definitely put your valuables in a safe place! I had a pair of brand new Bose headphones stolen from our room and the hotel authorities said I had no way of proving it. Never ever coming back! Beautiful city just stay... More

Been in the hotel for a few days in business trip. I was quite impressed by the architecture not only of the rooms but of the entire building. Cosy and large rooms, quiet, great location inside Queretaro, very welcoming service, and indeed great food. Did not try the spa as no time was available, but it is a hotel to... More

A seven day business trip brought me to the heart of Queretaro. Being my first time in Mexico, I was somewhat apprehensive about going there but I had a lovely time. The Dona Urraca is a fantastic hotel. Conveniently located just a few minutes away from Plaza de Armas and the central historical center; lots of restaurants and cafes are... More

Queretaro is a magical colonial city. Dona Urraca is in its heart and everything is very close to the hotel. In addition, everybody is wonderful and ready to make your experience even better, all of the employees have great attitude. The building is a renovated colonial house and has great views, gardens, heated pool, restaurant, bar, SPA and other great... More

Very classic Mexican Hotel. Very comfortable, well kept, quiet and central. Stayed some time ago and never reviewed but was recommending to a friend a hotel and remembered this one, where one doesn't seem to go wrong. A great advantage to this hotel is the location. Right in the middle of all the action and good entertainment in the city

Great value, high quality, great staff, fine food, clean and professional. The room was spacious, my wife would have liked a coffee maker and not an espresso machine. Visiting our daughter in the Peace Corps. Dona Urraca is a few blocks from where she lives and close to the Centro Historica district. We walked everywhere. Ate at a lot of... More
