When I read the reviews I got really scared but I had no choice since I was part of a group on this trip and it was booked this way.
The location is absolutely terrible: very far from the center by a big highway full of traffic, eg. can't walk to a restaurant at night - that already should suffice...

My husband chose this hotel because of its renowned name, but it turned out very unpleasant experience. For a standard room we have paid 1400 pesos (US $120) per night with buffet breakfast while it's not worth even the half of that. someone earlier wrote, the pool was small, but i've seen much smaller.
i had one of the 110er rooms, and though in my opinions they werent very normal,
it wasnt that bad. but i missed things like a fridge or extra-goodies in the bathroom (they only had lotion and shampoo).
