This hotel looks just like the pictures depict. Each of the 2 suites we stayed in were luxurious, unique and very comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful other than the not great food it was a fantastic stay. It's located in the center of the historic district and I highly recommend this very special hotel. The hotel has beautiful rooms and historic architecture. The staff were hard working and kind, several speaking English well. It is set in an attractive safe part of town and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

I visited La Casa de la Marquesa mainly to eat at Comedor de la Marquesa with some business colleagues. The dinner was arranged by our host, who owns a business a Queretaro. I did not stay at the hotel, but explored the entire property and then ate dinner at Comedor de la Marquesa. Pros: 1. The space is beautiful. The... More

We had the opportunity to stay in this marvellous hotel for three nights. It is absolutely fantastic. Everything runs smoothly even with our lack of Spanish speaking skills. The rooms are to die for; large and luxurious, with beautiful furnishings. The architecture is magnificent. Would we stay again. Yes, in a heartbeat!

great value for the location - got a great price from easy to book. If you love luxurious bedding and elegant rooms, this isn't it. But, given the central location close to the subway, the Loblaws at Maple Leaf Gardens it is great value for this older hotel.

What a nightmare! It is one of the most charming hotels you can imagine with beautiful colonial charm however be WARNED! First night at the hotel there was no hot water, which was fixed midday the next day. Waking up after the second night there was no water at all! (hot or cold). So after my early run you can... More

Our company had a board meeting in this hotel recently. While both properties are nice and full of character, I wouldn't recommend La Casa for business meetings. Had difficulties during the planning stage, slow replies to inquiries, etc. Meeting room didn't have A/C, they brought in fans and suggested to open the door to the lobby... Had problems with A/C... Because of some of the comments here regarding Casa de la Marquesa and Casa Azul (its annex) I will be incorporating comments on both of them here. Clearly, Casa de la Marquesa is the more over the top of the two (it predates Casa Azul by about 100 years) but Casa Azul is still a good deal and quite wonderful... More
