This is an exceptional, one of a kind property. Location is perfect and within walking distance of Queretaro's main squares. We stayed in the Cristobal Colón room, which is on the top floor of the main building. It is a large, comfortable room with a beautiful private veranda overlooking the city. Staff was polite and professional. We did not dine... more

We were on a roadtrip around Mexico during the Day of the Dead holidays, which in Mexico are quite spectacular. Ceretaro had an incredible atmosphere and it is one of the must see cities in Mexico if you really want to get to know he Mexicoan culture. La Casa de la Marquesa is located in the heart of the city... more

The architecture and history of this building make it magical. Get in, read a guide, take some pictures and have a coffee at the restaurant... And stay at another hotel... We arrived late (10:30 pm) with a 2bd reservation. They mistakenly had booked a 1 bd room and not only did not assume their responsibility, but were rude (receptionist and... more

Amazing diamond in the rough. The detail found in every room is absolutely impeccable. We felt as if we were staying in a museum. more

I'm sitting in the restaurant of the Casa de la Marquesa enjoying a first class breakfast while pondering the two most miserable nights of our eight night trip. The hotel has a lot going for it: great location, stunning architecture and an eager and willing staff. It misses the most important part of being a hotel...a good nights sleep. Our... more

We stayed one night at the Hotel Casa de la Marquesa. What an elegant and stunning property, as somebody else described it. It is in the center of the city, walking distance to every sight. We stayed at the "Tepeyac" suite. Spacious, comfortable, quiet, and beautiful. The French doors openned to a small balcony overlooking the street. It had a pretty... more

I have just returned from a stay in Queretaro. During the visit, I had the pleasure of staying at La Casa de La Marquesa. La Casa de La Marquesa is an excellent choice in Queretaro. The hotel has a great location, just one block off the main square. The exterior and common areas of La Casa de La Marquesa are... more

Stayed 2 nights at this elegant, beautifully maintained hotel perfectly located a few blocks from the Plaza. We took two rooms in the main building;one had a balcony overlooking the street and the other (for our two teenagers) had windows onto the inner courtyard. I thought it was a bit dark but it had a huge bathroom. The staff was... more

Excellent hotel, with great decor. There are actually two houses, one more elegant (and I think more expensive), where registration is located, and one around the corner,l where we stayed. Room was spacious, very high ceilings, enormous wooden bed with soft sheets, nice decor. Breakfast is served downstairs in a beautiful courtyard (not included in room rate!). We had a... more

La Casa de la Marquesa is a wonderful, historical, beautiful place. The rooms were quite large and comfortable. This hotel is located in the heart of the city. The plaza, museums, cafes, shops, and restaurants are all just a few blocks away. We had a wonderful romantic weekend. more
