From the onset of our stay Jorge and Ivan were like old friends, accomodating every question and request during the 4 nights that we stayed there! It was my birthday; they greeted me upon my arrival with a luscious slice of cake. When they heard how long we had traveled to Queretaro they immediately presented us with ice cold beers... More

This is a centuries-old building with all its charms and quirks. Not for the unimaginative. Wonderful, welcoming staff. Hang out in the Moorish-themed lobby, drink some tequila, and listen to the piano bar. You won't see a place like this very often.

I was concerned about booking based on a couple of reviews. The printout of our reservation was sitting on the counter and I was referred to by name. Our first room was nice, but the one we received upon our return was amazing. The manager answered all of our questions with ease, even about vegetarian food options for our friend,... More

We arrived on a very raining night. Our taxi arrangement with the hotel didn't get confirmed properly but our friend drove us from the airport downtown to the hotel. We arrived very late but the hotel waited from our arrival before going home. Because of the mix up on the taxi service the hotel management graciously provided us with an... More

Wonderful place, very big room with high ceilings and a bathtub. Very good breakfast although it's not included. Staff are very helpful. The location is perfect, and there's WiFi in the rooms. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Located on the pedestrian street of Madero, the Casa de la Marquesa is a boutique hotel built in a historic mansion. There are only 13 guest rooms, each with its own character. I was given the Cristóbal Colon room, which boasts a rooftop patio and outdoor jacuzzi! The patio has view of the domes of nearby churches too! Being a... More

Incredible architecture, close to the center, great breakfast menu and live piano morning and evening. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are ample, but the bed was very firm, my wife say hard as a rock, and sound/noise from outside came through the doors as if they were open. All said, a nice place.

Although the hotel only has a small number of rooms, they are absolutely fantastic. They are huge and furnished with beautiful pieces. The service was top quality. The road to the hotel was closed off when I arrived but a quick word with the traffic police and I was able to go right in front of the hotel, where they... More

This hotel is located in the heart of the city but our beautiful room was very quiet as we were in the "attic" in the "Niña". Next door was the "Santa Maria", across the hall was the "Pinta" and the "Christopher Columbus" was at the end of the hall. Our room was quite spacious and just gorgeous. The bathroom and... More

The building is fantastic--exactly what on would look for in terms of history and charm in the heart of town. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, again with charming character!
