The hotel is absolutely beautiful and charming. The hotel restaurant was nicely decorated for the holidays. Our room was nice a bit cold because we didn't get any sunshine and there is no heating! but the staff were all very very nice, very friendly and very helpful. We stayed in the back house where the pool is. There was some... more

I had found this hotel when walking through Queretaro's beautiful center last summer and decided to come back and stay at Meson Santa Rosa on my recent trip through colonial Mexico. I really liked the Meson Santa Rosa and it's beautiful setting of the gardens in it's interior. We stayed in the backhouse, by the pool which would have been... more

We stayed at the Meson de Santa Rosa only one night, on a Sunday after the long weekend of the "Dia de Muertos", coming from Mexico City. The staff were very, very nice and charming, and without us even asking they upgraded both us and our friends to suites - which are enormous, decorated in a colonial/early republican style (i.e.,... more

16 months later and the hotel management still refuse to deal with the theft of my camera by a member of their staff. We strongly recommend to our friends and customers not to stay at this hotel. more

Meson Santa Rosa is a beautiful small hotel in the heart of the lovely city of Queretaro. The building speaks for itself, retaining many of the original features (the city is one of UNESCO's World Heritage), however rooms have been renovated to very high standards. The hotel's restaurant (Padeca) and Coffee bar (Sorsso), right in the middle of the City's... more

This hotel is a 200 year old historic hotel in need of some serious renovation. The plumbing leaked. There was a squeak in our bathroom (room 102) that started in the evening and stopped in the morning. The toilet leaked (temporary repairs were made as soon as I reported the leak but it started to leak again before we left).... more

I had the occasion to stay at the Santa Rosa for business. The room was excellent, a decent size with good services and views over two courtyards. The location of the hotel is in a small sqaure with three very nice restaurants. (Yes I tried them all). You do need to have a basic knowledge of Spanish as only the... more

Meson De Santa Rosa...The hotel is as lovely as its name implies. The grounds are charming and well manicured, making for a peaceful and relaxing environment. We arrived very early in the morning, 7:00 am, the hotel staff opened the restaurant early, just for us, and made every effort to have the room ready quickly. Meson is located in the... more
