I share with my wife Ana a great opinion about this lovely hotel located in Queretaro. I just came back from a weekend in this beautiful city because of my birthday and I can tell that we fully recommend Villa del Villar. It has a great location because it is nearby from downtown, only a couple of blocks away, but... More

I have a good reason for the qualification and it is that this Hotel, in my opinion, is overrated on Trip Advisor. I actually chose it based on the fantastic reviews and did not know that in reality, is a very, very simple hostel type of Hotel. First I have to recognize that the attention was as for the reviews,... More

I rested my body and my soul in this place, perfect for quiet people, the staff know how to treat their guests perfectly, would return there if visiting Queretaro again. It is in a quiet street, the hotel is perfectly clean and quiet, the rooms are very nice, and the staff gave us great tips for places to eat. It... More

This small hotel is in a perfect location, an easy walk to the historic center. Our room was small and dark but had a very comfortable bed, a great shower and was very clean. The darkness of the room was due to it's being an old colonial building with the traditional thick walls and small windows. The breakfast was well... More

I stayed at Villa del Villar for 2 nights. The location could not be better; easy walking distance to the plazas, restaurants, churches and museums. The room was very clean. The cooked, made-to-order breakfast was an excellent way to start the day. The staff is very service-oriented. Knowing a little bit of Spanish would be helpful, but not absolutely necessary.

The hotel is located in downtown on a relax area, so noise wont be a problem. Breakfast is OK, it could be better but is a good breakfast, I could recommend to offer a bigger variety of bread and a better coffee, nevertheless it was very good, the eggs are just amazing and the service is different and original. Rooms... More

It's one of the best hotels in town. Great hospitality & service, unique and clean rooms, nice atmosphere, well located and at a fair price ! The value for money is certainly worth it. I try to stay there whenever I'm in Queretaro but book well in advance because is usually full.

This small property was the perfect place for a weekend getaway from the DF. The rooms are nice (keep in mind hotels in the US and hotels in Mexico are a bit different). Our room was comfortable and clean. One member of the staff does speak English. The hotel is in a great location: you can walk to the centro... More

We stayed in room 10 at the top of the stairs. The room was plenty big with a terrific single-shot coffee pot. Clean with almost everything you need to be comfortable. The young male staff is extremely helpful. A shout out to Orlando, Jesus, y Ulises. Anything you need they will get it for you. You might practice a few... More

We are returning from a long trip with multiple destinations. We decided to take a "day off" from traveling before returning home. We read the reviews of this hotel and decided to give it a try. We got in late from the airport, our host was waiting for us and showed us to room number 3. It was a very... More
