We had a really great experience staying in Casa del Atrio for seven nights. The rooms are comfortable, cool, and conveniently located in downtown Queretaro. Breakfast served outside your room each morning was extravagant. The museum of fine art is across the street. Great restaurant and wine shop with tasty Mexican wines located on the same block as hotel. I... More

La Casa del Atrio was the perfect home base for exploring Querétaro, and Antonio and Pepe were the perfect hosts. Their genuine love for their business and their care for their guests is evident in every interaction and throughout the details of the hotel. Our room was beautiful - intriguing art covered the walls, and the blend of modern amenities... More

My wife and I just spent a week at Casa del Atrio. Great room. Wonderful setting. Walking through the entrance arcade filled with paintings and antiques welcomed us unlike any hotel where we've ever stayed. Tonio and Pepe are fantastic hosts, and they do everything they can to make your visit perfect. Breakfast in the patio was delicious (the Huevos... More

When you arrive at Casa del Atrio, located in the historic colonial area of Queretaro, you can´t imagine what you´ll find crossing the front door. A gallery full of art and collectibles, well set and beautiful rooms and patios, high quality linens and pillows and most of all the warm attention of Toño the owner. He even gave me a... More

The stay at the hotel was very pleasant and comfortable. Antonio is an excellent host and very service oriented. We stayed for one night and we were able to enjoy the room and a wonderful homemade breakfast by a very attentive lady, Rosa. The mattress was great and the linens were top quality as well as all the other in... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here January 19-21 2014 and booked the romantic package which included an amazing three course dinner and bottle of wine, hour long massage for each of us and a bottle of champagne with roses in our room. The owners were so friendly with great recommendations for local sights to see and even gave us our... More

We have been in the Hospitality industry for over 30 years now and wanted to find a quick escape from our Boutique Hotel in San Miguel de Allende which is only a 1 hr drive to Queretaro. The Hosts Antonio and Pepe were very warm and inviting with a wealth of information on our arrival. My personal favorite of this... More

Very personal service and hospitality from Antonio and a lovely stay in their garden property, convenient to all. Nice bathroom amenities, quiet nights, safe location. The art museum across the street is excellent and Antonio's recommendations for dining very helpful.

I think that pretty much everything has already been said, Antonio and Pepe are fantastic helpful and knowledgeable hosts, very comfortable rooms, brilliant location, scrummy spicey breakfasts (other choice available, but I loved the extra zing), and the most fascinating old city to explore on the doorstep. The local market a few minutes away off the Main Street is well... More
