I stayed at Maple City Inn this past weekend with my family to attend a funeral. There are some nice things about it, they upgraded some of the features, there is now a breakfast, and the pool is a great temperature. Now for the complaints: -I stayed with my 15 month-old son and husband. While we were cleaning up his... More

Nice rooms, but a electric room generator kicks in at 4am, rattles the whole floor, until you have to get out of bed and ask, what the heck is going on. Then told, its been a problem for awhile, then told that I am lucky not in the room right next to the generator.. Hmm.. Then told the owners know... More

Very attentive and friendly staff, exceptional breakfast. Train runs very close to hotel but we rarely heard it with our room being on the back side of the facility. There was a fridge, microwave and hairdryer in the room. Large stain on one of the bedspreads, hair in the bathtub, mildew on the shower surround seams.

I really don't know where to start. The shower curtain was torn. The sink was taped up.The bedspread had burn marks on it. Carpet was stained and smelled funny all up and down the hall. It is a run down part of town. People running up and down the street. The train is very close to the hotel and blows... More

This hotel, formerly Comfort Inn, is a great find in the sea of run-down hotels in the vicinity! Staff were helpful and friendly. They let us know about a near-by train, and while we appreciated the notice, it wasn't a problem for us. The train went by in the morning hours and wasn't troublesome. A great hot breakfast was included.... More

I stayed here twice before when it was a Comfort Inn. The name may have changed, but the quality has not. I heard the same info reported by another reviewer about future renovations and prospective branding as a Best Western. I understand that the hotel may become no smoking at that point, which would be nice. The non-smoking rooms are... More

Stayed to drop of our son at university and was not sure what to expect. Not a fan of it having a smoking section in the hotel, but our room (non-smoking) was clean and did not smell of any smoke. Beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Walls were terribly thin -... More

Stayed here at the end of July for a family wedding. Our room had twin queens and we were quite comfortable; all rooms have coffee pots and dorm size refrigerators. Lobby was very presentable and self serve breakfast is offered every morning. This two story, no elevator, hotel used to be a Comfort Inn. It will undergo a renovation, in... More

My wife had stayed here on an outing a couple of years ago so we gave it a try recently. Overall, it's nice. Right up front, the desk lady said that trains go by once in a while and they offered complimentary ear plugs. One train did go through in the night and sounded as if it were in the... More
