I can’t say enough good things about our trip to Mfuwe Lodge in March 2014. When we originally began planning our vacation, we wanted to stay at the Bushcamps. When we started the planning process, Ashleigh let us know the Bushcamps were not open on our travel dates (they opened just a few weeks after due to the wet season),... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in mid July this year. It was an exquisite experience from start to finish. Mfuwe lodge is a well oiled colonial machine with awesome wildlife both in and around the lodge and out on the drives. Almost Disney like in its perfection! All staff were incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough to make our... More

Our 4 night stay at Mfuwe lodge was the best African Safari we have had in our 30 years in Africa. We couldn't have asked for more. The hospitality, accomodation and food was excellent .......on top of this the game viewing was exceptional! We saw all the game we wanted to see and more . Our game guide, Peter, was... More

Spent 4 days at various bush camps, starting from the Mfuwe lodge. Amazing experience - saw Giraffes, Lions, Panthers, Warthogs, Hyenas, and many more birds/animals. The remote location of the bushcamps gives a unique experience; we only crossed paths with other parties twice in 4 days. If you're an active type, I recommend finding something active before/after your time there.... More

We loved Mfuwe Lodge and had a first-class guide in Manda. Our room was spectacular and the staff welcoming and very accommodating to any need. Our trip, in May, was at a relatively low season so the lodge was not very busy. We loved that! Our first trip to Africa, and we were told this part of the season is... More

After an arduous trip through Malawi, crossing the Zambian border and bumping along the dreadful road to Mfuwe, our arrival at Mfuwe Lodge was most welcome. The staff at the front desk was more than welcoming. Rooms and common areas were especially inviting. Great place to relax before heading out to some of the more remote parts of the park.... More

Visited May 2014. Flew from Lusaka to Livingstone, and took an arranged transfer to Mfuwe Lodge. The place is lovely and serene. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is first class. I really liked the individual lodges, and in my case, I was positioned by the lake, in Impala (lodge name). It was fantastic having Hippos just outside,... More

This was our third trip to Mfuwe Lodge. Since our last visit, the rooms have been upgraded and are much lighter and brighter in feel. It is a large camp in a fairly busy area although many of the other camps are outside the park gates but you may find yourself with 4/5 other vehicles around you if you've found... More

Having had Mfuwe recommended to us by a friend, we already anticipated an exceptionally high quality trip, however our stay at the lodge and the 3 nights at Kapamba Bushcamp were well beyond our expectations. Needless to say, the elephants lived up to their reputation... The staff were exceptional. The setting is second to none. And our guide seemed infinitely... More

We enjoyed our stay...this was the fanciest lodge of our stay and was at the end of our trip. Game drives were great--saw 21 giraffes and also saw a group of wild dogs. Our driver, Paxton, was wonderful. Rooms/view were fantastic, food was good, and free laundry was a real plus!
