Our stay at Wildlife was wonderful. Relaxed, quiet, great food, great service, very friendly and helpful staff and managers. We were also lucky that we were there in the low season, so all our game drives were private :-) Our guide did his best to show us the more difficult to find predators (lions, leopards, wild dogs) and we saw... The campsite is next to the river so you have an amazing view. A night the hippos come out to graze around. During school holidays it can be full but it still does not feel to crowded. The pool is really nice and ideal to relax after your morning drive. We used the game drives offered by the camp. The... More

The permanent tents and lovely chalets are situated on a bend in the river where you can see the wildlife at a stone's throw. It is superb and one of my favourite places in Africa. The tents are very comfortable and have all you need, most of all, proximity to the animals and a view of the river - virtually... More

I stayed at Wildlife Camp for a weekend during the rainy season - called the "Green Season" (or "Emerald Season") due to the incredibly lush foliage at this time. Because many people don't want to venture out in the rain, the prices are considerably lower during this time. And you can see an amazing number of animals and birds! I... More

Stayed here in October at end of dry season. We used the campground and our own tents. Facilities clean, swimming pool a welcome cooling and watering hole. Wildlife within metres: elephants, warthog, baboons and monkey all to be found on the camping ground. A short drive to the national park where the wildlife is excellent. I would recommend the morning... More

I was a part of a 3 week conservation exchange programme with a school in Adelaide. We were a group of 15 students and 6 staff, with the age range for the students of 15-17yrs old. We chose Wildlife as our base as it wasn't too expensive, and covered our basic needs well. We stayed in the Chalets, which although... More

There is not much to say about Wildlife camp other than that it's fantastic. We spent 4-5 days there in early December, and we were (fortunately for us) practically the only guests, making the wildlife experience unforgettable. The location is unique (great views, animals all around), it has friendly staff and good management, and there is always someone around for... More

Dear WillemE - thank you so much for the fantastic review. The best way to start our 2014 is to hear that we kept our clients happy during 2013! I am also glad that you got to see Pel's Fishing owl! They are always a special find, and not many people in this world have been lucky enough to see... More

We camped here for three nights in November and loved it so much we added another day. The campsite's location is amazing, it sites on the banks of a river, where, even in the summer when the water is low, you can see animal's drink and bathe. That's not all, they freely wander around and through the camp regularly to... More

I just love this camp site, may be some people prefer the Kruger, where you can drive in a park with you're Renault Clio over tarmac to some artificial waterholes and en counter lots of animals. I prefer South Luangwa. You just put up you're tent, and probably have the first encounter with an animal,... a baboon who likes to... More
