It was our first time at South Luangwa and the Wildlife camp. what a lovely experience after days of traveling through North Luangwa. Hot water showers, Flush Toilets, town nearby and grass on the site! we went on a game drive to the park and saw a lot of animals, including leopard and hyena. the park is opposite the campsite... We spent five nights camped beside the wide river during June 2014. Camp was quiet, not too many people so we loved it particularly because there weren't Overland trucks. Setting is stunning and we preferred it to Flatdogs where we also stayed a few nights. Ablutions had hot water, clean and very adequate. Had lion pass through camp one night,... More

This was one of our favorite stays in Africa. The staff are very knowledgable and helpful, especially Conrad who took us on a game walk and helped us understand the more subtle parts of nature. Our campsite was beautiful: near the pool, bar, and overlooking the riverbed. Animals are free to roam through, making you feel very close to nature.... More

I stayed in the wildlife camp together with three friends and we had an amazing time. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with anything. The game drives are great and we especially liked the bush walk with overnight stay in the bushcamp - an amazing experience. Already in the camp you see a lot of wildlife. The... More

In a sudden vertical mix up of cloud, forest, mountain and small specs of grass cladded huts, our plane bumped down in Mfuwe. What can one expect, Mfuwe is a rough little country side town, and densely populated in the centre of town James, our guide, was waiting on us at the airport, and with all his self-imposed research of... We had a super stay at wildlife camp. The safari guides were interesting and very knowledgeable and we saw leopard lions and plenty of giraffe and zebras. The food at the camp was excellent and the staff were friendly and very helpful.

Words cannot fully relate the camping experience at Wildlife. Every day was a new adventure, surrounded by the beautiful flora and fauna of the Luangwa River. The staff was warm, accommodating, and personable. The food was excellent and served with elegance and excellence. The showers were among the best we've experienced in Africa. The overall experience was further enhanced by... More

We had a wonderful time at Wildlife Lodge! Upon our arrival the staff welcomed us and the service remained at high level during the whole week. One just had to ask for and it was already arranged for us. Our chalet was very comfortable: the 3 children were sleeping together in their bedroom, a private shower and toilet in the... More
