In January we stayed here for 10 nights. Although it was rainy season we only had one morning of rain. The rest of the rain fell in the evening or during the night. Most day's were cloudy which made the temperature quite bearable (20-25 C). We had leopard sightings every day and the park looked like the Garden of Eden.... More

I stayed at the for 2 night during an overland tour through East Africa. The scenery is just breath taking as described and even better. It is a very good place for campers sine that is the only way I can see the guests getting exactly what they pay for and enjoy the amazing view at the park. The permanent... More

Dear Hayat_Aziz. I'd like to thank you for taking the time to review Wildlife Camp on Trip Advisor and for the positive comments about the scenery in the Luangwa Valley. I would like to point out that Wildlife Camp is set in one of wildest places left on this beautiful continent and that animals like geckos are part and parcel... More

Thank you Herman, Dora and your wonderful staff for making our trip memorable, we celebrated a family members 50th birthday, and it could not have been more perfect. Heavy rains left us in doubt if you would pull off a surprise bush breakfast, but you did, in great style. Food was great all 4 nights. In my opinion, the rainy... More

Being just outside the South Luangwa National Park main gate, this camp makes for easy access into the park and for a slightly cheaper option with great camping facilities along the beautiful river. The large campsite has breathtaking views of the river, boasting Elephant crossings and leapard sightings. There is a pool and bar area also overlooking the river and... More

If you are in South Luangwa I would recommend going on a game drive with James from the Wildlife Camp. He is experienced, knowledgeable, has keen eyes, and asks you what you want to see as you enter the park. I was really impressed with James and especially his knowledge of the history of the animals in the park -... More

World Camp Inc. has been taking groups of volunteers to Wildlife for years. They are a pleasure to work with when planning group trips. Rooms are very nice, the food is great and the kitchen is very accommodating for allergies and dietary preferences (we had a gluten-free, lactose-intolerant, vegetarian kosher volunteer and they made it happen!). Working with the staff... More

Awesome spot, nice 3 star permanent tented camp, with sweet and relaxing bar area over-looking the river and a pool (although it's a weird, weird colour). Great to watch the passing elephant parade, right by the far end of the camp! I was on foot 5m away from a passing elephant herd - amazing. Outdoor en-suite showers with hot water,... More

The second of four lodges for my lady and I. We had a comfortable transfer from Thornicroft to The Wildlife Camp where we were greeted by Rheta at the main office. Well laid out site with comfortable chalets and good viewing from the main bar/restaurant area. Dora, the on duty manager at the time, was a pleasure to meet -... More

24 October to 7 November I stayed again in Wildlife Camp, my last trip before this one was in May 2014. The idea was to be there at the end of the dry season, with some hope to see the first heavy rainfalls. Which did not come, unfortunately. Other wise, everything was just great; if you believe in numbers: on... More

When making their choice of camps in South Luangwa many travelers focus on access to wildlife, good food, and that 'on safari' feel. These are what we found the first time we chose Wildlife Camp for the good service, beautiful view and setting , and for all the wildlife that comes through at odd times. Oh, and did I mention...
