This is a great place, it is in a fantastic setting on the luanga river and the sights are great. Within the camp you often see impala, monkeys and elephants and of course viewing hippos and crocodiles from the bank (safely) There is a central charging point for all your cameras etc as no mains power in the room but... The Coppinger family owns and runs this camp and the entire staff is a friendly reflection of their philosophy. You feel like you are more like a member of the family rather than a guest. Food was excellent, the guiding and game viewing great and the location of the camp along the river was beautiful. This little corner of the... More

Delightful! The staff was the best. The people were genuine as well as friendly. Their guides are very knowledgeable and had great eyesight. They spotted animals that we certainly would have missed. We saw so many more animals than we expected. The supporting staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was on par with some of the best... More

Everything about this place is lovely. We arrived as some of the first guests this season and were treated royally. It feels as if you are welcome guests of the family and although our hosts had to leave on a business trip their daughter Jennie took over with Heather, Rhona, Gareth and all the rest of the staff. Our guide,... More

Tafika was one of the camps we just had to go back to after our first visit to Africa last year. We thought last year was so good, cant believe how much better this year was!!! After a very hot and heart stopping, exciting walk from Crocodile camp where we saw so much, we crossed the river and were taken... More

The location of the camp is beautiful, the cabins are spacious, the food delicious. The owners and staff were great and the wildlife was spectacular. We combined this camp with its bush camp Chikoko where we did walking safaris which was unforgettable. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and well trained. We did the microlight flight and it was worth it.... More

Tafika is a welcoming, comfortable and beautiful camp set on the banks of the Luangwa river. The owners and staff made our stay an absolute treat and the wildlife was spectacular. We split our safari time between long walks in the bush in the mornings and afternoon/night drives. The walks were a great way to learn about the flora and... More

The setting of this camp is beautiful and the rooms were spacious with wonderful views of the river. The only electricity was at the main lodge but there were plenty of outlets so there was no problem charging cameras and tablets, all you really need on a trip like this. Everything about this camp was lovely--the setting, the game drives,... More

Wonderful place perfectly run by its owners, with very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides, great wildlife and fantastic varied food and delicious bread and cakes. Attentive staff all round and a great atmosphere, with a awful lot of safari tome on offer both in vehicle and on food and excellent night drives too.

Tafika is a very special place. From the accommodation, food, hospitality, setting and guiding - none of it could have been better. We only had one night which wasn't nearly enough, and were made to feel like part of the family. A lot of the guests had stayed there many times, and it was easy to see why.
