A good accommodation option close to the seal colony if you are en route North. A comfy fire and lounge area where you can get wifi, sort of, okay food with some choice and serviceable clean rooms. Nothing particularly exceptional but does the job. The seal colony is just around the corner and worth the stop over, the noise and... More

Nice to gather round the fire in the lodge after a bracing walk along the beach. The rooms are nice and the food fine. Most people head to the seal colony here which is an impressive experience - the noise, smell and up-close view.

We really enjoyed the drive to Cape Cross Lodge. This is the one place on our Namibian vacation that I wish we had stayed an additional night. There's not much to do, but the entire area is just simply amazing.

Stayed for one night on the way to Swakopmund. Very nice rooms, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, you could not get closer to the sea. Extremely friendly and helpful staff throughout, great food served as a set menu. Free coffe and superb cake available at the bar for guests, nice touch. Far away from any activities, except the seal colony. Outstanding... More

Our travel agent Desire Africa did an incredible job arranging our Namibian adventure and this was one of the resorts she chose. It is a cosy rest over place with really friendly staff. a wonderful history that goes with the lodge.

Great view of the Atlantic Coast Room was really comfortable and modern Meals in the Restaurant was excellent. Good choice on the menu. Negative Staff friendless mixed. Initial welcome excellent. Restaurant staff a little... More

We camped and their facilities were terrific. Big camp plot spaces with a running sink in each space. Braii stations. Showers and toilets were very nice and routinely cleaned. Free Wifi worked perfectly and their restaurant/bar/lounge had a really cozy feel that made you feel at home. We also ran out of gas but they sold us some and got... More

On our photographic journey through Namibia, we stayed one night at the Cape Cross Lodge. Our main objective was to photograph the seals of Cape Cross. The lodge was conveniently located and the seals were in close proximity. The lodge is an Eco-Lodge and is completely off the grid. The Owner "Nadine" was absolutely charming and very helpful. She made... More

It is easy to describe a visit to the Cape Cross Lodge near Namibia's Skeleton Coast but hard to convince someone they might like to go there themselves. Cape Cross is a couple of hours drive north of Walvis Bay and Swakopmund just south of Namibia's Skeleton Coast National Park. That area on the northern coast of Namibia is one... More
