We stopped in for an overnight stay after a very long drive from Etosha through the Skeleton Coast Park. We stayed two nights and could have stayed longer. The service we received was the best in Namibia. We had a lovely room overlooking the ocean and spent most of one night watching the amazing bio luminesence of the waves breaking.... More

We stayed there for one night only. After the extremely high temperatures in the Omaruru area we could finally relax as it was much cooler there. The lodge is nice and clean, the service was perfect and breakfast and dinner excellent. Also we have to recommend to see the seal colony. Very interesting to see even though one has to... More

My wife and I stayed in the lodge for two nights on our way from the Estosha N.P. to the dunes at Sossusvlei. Our stay was very comfortable, the staff where very freindly and helpful. This extended to getting me a TV to watch, so that I could watch the Rugby World Cup final, the public TV had been damaged... More

We arrived after a long journey and maybe we were spoilt by the lodges we had been staying in as we were both disappointed on arrival. It was a Sunday afternoon and the place was full of families with kids running riot in the dining room! First impression was very poor! The room wasn't too bad but the bathroom was... More

We stayed here only for one night... After all that dust and breathtaking heat we found a quiet and calm place managed and run by lovely people. It's not only the location and it's surroundings. It's all that little "nothings" that made our stay unforgettable. As there were very rare guests, we had an a la carte dinner, which was... More

This is the perfect place if you need to just take a break from the hustling and bustling of life. Great ocean view from the room. Service is pretty fast, friendly staff. The vintage surroundings in the rooms is fantastic. A bit pricy

Secluded, can see/hear ocean from rooms, dinner was 4 course meal and was very nice. Walking on the beach was enjoyable and there were a few seals on this beach too. Staff were generally nice. Deal colony to visit nearby. No wifi in rooms, bathrooms are old, no bar menu at restaurant, limited breakfast, no soy milk. Biggest problem was... More

Firstly a big thank you to all the staff, namely, Simon, Elvin, Life, Denzel, Steven and Joseph who all made us feel so welcome. Nothing was ever too much to ask. Enjoyed our two days there thoroughly as hubby wanted to fish and we were able to hire all the equipment. Loads of seals to see, ocean view rooms and... More

This hotel is quite dated and the shower facilities need improving but the beds are comfortable and the balcony has a stunning view over the Atlantic beach. There is a fascinating small museum downstairs and although the breakfast was average we were agreeably surprised by the very good quality of the evening meal. Worth a night if you have time... This Lodge is geared for a good quality overnight stop. All rooms face the raging sea and our balcony was sheltered enough to sit out for a while. Open-plan public area felt like a barn in daytime, but roaring fires in the evening gave it a cosier feel. Dinner was delicious, breakfast adequate, if a bit plain. We ordered packed... More
