Palmwag is offering basic to luxurious cabins, We had a very spacious family cabin (hosting 5 beds) and a mini pool (to be shared with neighbours). View was not great due to bushes. Within walking distance from main area. The resto offers breakfast buffet and dinner. All Namibian style, fast quick and settled within the hour :-) Very friendly staff... More

We only stopped at Palmwag for a few hours while we waited to be picked up for the trip to Etendeka. So used the opportunity to have a few beers at the pub and look around. It seems like an amazing resort and one we will seriously consider if we are ever in the area again.

Beautiful place! An oasis in the middle of this barren landscape, and the Jaeger is cold! Ice cold pool but expensive drinks. Staff could be friendlier as well..... All of this is made bearable by the beautiful country side and various animals!!

Good, gravel based campsites along the dry river course with an elephant in close attendance most of the time. Large sites and well maintained, with good access to swimming pool, bar etc. Kids had a ball! A bit of a problem with very high water pressures which made the pipes leak a bit and spots soggy around the camp. Toilets... More

Thank you for your wonderful review and visit to our lodge! We sincerely apologize for the water situation. We have put a non existing sewerage system in place and replaced all the old water pipes of 30 years with new ones. At the time of your stay we had to generate the water supply "manually", but have now installed a... More

A wonderful lodge set in the desert but along side an ephemeral river which has created an 'oasis' like setting. The lodge is friendly, tastefully done but I think it's greatest appeal is the organised trips to see desert game. Here there is a possibility of seeing Rhino, Elephant, Leopard and Lion as well as antelope such as oryx. These... More

Our game drives to the Palmwag Concession is truly a high light. Unfortunately in the dry season the tours are more about our beautiful landscape and scenery. With our well trained and experienced guides, spotting of Rhinos, Elephants, Lions, Leopards etc. is almost 100% every time. Slowly but surely wildlife is returning this time around as our concession has sufficient... More

Great pool and bar area to spend a leisurely day. We had a great guided walk with an informative guide, although limited game to be seen. Ablutions were OK but we we had a blocked drain next to our camp site which was disgusting! Be careful not to drive to Etosha from palmwag with meat as it will be confiscated... More

Dear Nicholas! We truly apologize for the bad experience with our blocked drains and we understand your reaction. Due to unforeseen circumstances we have lots of daily maintenance on our hand keeping the pipes free of foreign objects, but we are winning with our new "system". It is surely a daily challenge in our environment and keeping it as eco-friendly... More

What a welcome oasis! We traveled from Puros to Palmwag on what I consider to be one of the worst corrugated roads. We were very relieved to reach Palmwag and more thankful that they had a very well equipped repair shop. The campsites were rather basic but with a nice view. Our campsite, no 7, was in the process of... More

Dear Tanya! Thank you for your review and rating Palmwag Lodge with 4 stars. We are proud to announce that all 5 new communal ablutions are now finished and in working order. Due to the corrugated, but well maintained roads, we are stocking our workshop with patch & solutions and various types of tyres to help travelers get back on... More

This facility has recently been done up, with new ablutions and chalets For those adventurous types it is a great place to stay, It is a all very clean and the chance of an elephant wondering through is good, but give them there space and all will be well
