From the singing young man at the gate to the waiters and the rest of the staff, friendliness and service is essential to them. We spent an unforgettable, too short stay of two nights in Mowani in the superior view tents, enjoying every second. Delicious food, a nice selection of wines, a spectacular nicely decorated room with highly appreciated privacy... More

We stayed there for 2 nights. One night in a view room and another night in the suite. Both were very beautiful and the staff there were very helpful. The food was also very good. The activity to see desert adapted elephants is promising and do remember to come back to the camp to enjoy the great view of sunset.

The view from the campsite is beautiful. You're very close to Twyfelfontein. There are only a few so you can be assured to be in a quite place. Each camp has its own outdoor bathroom, beautifully integrated in the nature. It's just a pity we cannot access to the lodge facilities. ou better not forget anything as there is no... More

High quality lodge in a beautiful area. The view rooms are really Worth the extra. Good food and service with the possibility of eating Under the stars (if you ask). Warning, the road to this lodge is not good and only really suitable for a 4 by 4.

I, therefore we, have never proceeded to write a bad review. Energies could be spent elsewhere in my opinion however our experience at Mowani was perhaps one such experience that needs to be noted. From arrival our travel voucher was demanded of us, and our resoluteness that our payment had been made on booking only produced an unconvinced look from... More

What a beauty in the middle of Damaraland! peaceful, beautiful setting, comfortable rooms, excellent food and service, sunset spot was a winner, as was the pool area. Tastefully decorated and blends into the area so well you don't even notice it at all.

Couldn't fault our stay at the campsite here. (Not to be confused with the nearby lodge which is associated with it). In fact we voted it our favourite campsite over the two weeks we spent in Namibia. The views from our camp allotment (no.6) were stunning, set as it is amongst massive boulders and overlooking the nearby plain. Mowani Lodge... More

We arrived at Mowani right after staying one night in the Kipwe Camp. When rating honestly, we have to say that Kipwe was better than Mowani in terms of service and food. Service in the restaurant is a bit sluggish, food is average. However, the views here were also amazing. We had a view room, which was nice. Take the... More

From the moment that I arrived until the time that I left, I had an absolutely superb time at the Mowani Mountain Camp. What amazing and stunning part of the world! Set in amongst the boulders and rock formations of Twyfelfontein, the colors and scenery are alive as the sun moves across the sky and are especially sublime in the... More

We absolutely loved our stay at Mowani; amazing rooms - we had the valley view rooms but couldn't really tell why they might be viewed as inferior to rooms 1-4; as an added bonus we discovered that our room had an additional outside shower and bath with views out across the valley - incredible; lovely food (the best cooked Oryx...
