The lodge is cleverly positioned in the middle of huge boulders in an unbelievable landscape setting with views which go on for ever. The chalets, which have canvas sides and wall to wall zip up fly screens, are comfortable and clean. The service is excellent (Leonardo looked after us during our stay) and the meals were superb. Many tourist spots... More

The lodge and thatched huts are spread amongst the amazing rounded boulders on top of a hill, with superb views for miles over the surrounding hills and valleys. With 1 exception, the staff were well trained and the service was excellent. The huts were canvas-sided on a wood frame and were spacious, user-friendly and very comfortable. Sitting beside the fire... More

i think its almost impossible to describe.. this place. perfectly integrated in the nature... you have to hit against the door to understand where the lodge is. For the first time i need to have 6 stars on Tripadvisor to rate this place.

We stayed at the lodge for two nights in late March. The tented rooms are large and spacious, but only sleep two, so our daughter had a roll away bed on the floor, which was ok, but most other lodges accommodated a third bed for her. Also be aware that the tents are not tight to the floor, so easy... More

We stayed two nights in March. Everything was just perfect. The views from our room were incredible. The food was great. Service was excellent without being intrusive or over the top. The pool is small but lovely set amongst the rocks. The sunset is a big thing - and it lived up to expectations. We went on the Desert Elephant... More

Unbelievable lodge built among big rocks. The athmosphere is somehow magic and the sunset on top of the biggest rock with drinks served is really special. A must in a visit in Namibia. A big hug to our friend gatekeeper.

This is a long overdue review for a 2 night stay in September 2014. We stayed at a few campsites in our trip around Namibia and this was by far and away the best - and a real highlight of our trip. You can't access the lodge facilities but this wasn't a problem for us. Each pitch is positioned so... More

So close to being an amazing place, but no cigar. The campsite is actually beautiful, with each camp having its own very nice toilet and bathroom and washing up place. The views are great. But after an epic drive, I really wanted a cold beer, and they wouldn't let the raggedy campers into the fancy lodge bit to pick up... More

We stayed at Mowani Mountain Camp en route from Swakopmund to the Skeleton Coast. On reflection - had we appreciated the landscape of the Skeleton Coast, we probably would have just stayed for one night in transit here. The desert elephants are definitely great to see - but you're going to see them at the skeleton coast also - and... More
