With wonderful staff, excellent guides, astounding views, and good food Damaraland camp is amazing. The staff were very accommodating and incredibly friendly, I cannot praise them enough. The surrounding area is quite a sight and I recommend going on their hiking trip. On our first day we started with a beautiful breakfast atop a large hill/mountain in the middle of... More

The staff was great. They organized open air dinners and breakfast. Gandi was amazing. Our guide Teek was great. He found desert elephants. Food was great. Only 2 problems were that it was cold and they don't have hot showers. I'm still glad we went!!!

Damaraland camp is very unique. It is very remote from everything. The camp rooms are excellent, very roomy and clean. The electricity in the rooms was not let activated when we were there but they have plans. Agnes and her staff were the friendliest and most enjoyable of all the Wilderness camps we visited on this trip. Damaraland is all... More

Unfortunately, we had only one night at Damaraland Camp and arrived quite late after a very long journey, so we had no time to take any of the activities. The camp is excellent, with very large "tents" which are well equipped. The staff, led by Agnes, are uniformly welcoming, helpful and friendly, especially Desert Rose, who we taught a little... What a beautiful area with Maggi and her special Team running a great camp. Damaraland camp simply feels like home but home in a beautiful, harsh landscape that brings a different sunrise every day! I fell in love with Damaraland its special people. The soulful presence of this area is present in every drive and every person you come in... More

The camp is very nice. The room was fine. I can't complain about anything at the camp. We enjoyed the breakfast on the ridge surrounded by such beautiful scenery. It was interesting to see the Bersig village and listen to the old man tell his story. We tracked desert elephants for a long time and they were just about the... More

Damaraland is a completely different experience. Our room was lovely with everything we needed - but more Camp-like. The facilities were complete and suited to the environment. We ate family style which meant lively exchanges of experiences and new friends. We saw elephants, giraffes, ostriches and many other birds, spring bocks....the roads are rough but it is very much an... More

Though not as luxurious as other camps I stayed in on my trip this place holds a very special place in my memories. The setting is beautiful, but it is the staff that make it really special. As soon as you arrive you are aware of how much they want you to enjoy it and they immediately become friends. Nothing... More

We arrived at Damaraland Camp after 2 nights in Sousevelei (Little Kulala). From the arid desert, we were transfixed to a semi-arid desert. Much more green and a bit more plentiful wildlife (especially birds). The staff were welcoming and warm, the meals very good, and the tours (the highlight) great. Our first afternoon we took a nature drive that often... More
