Located on the top of a hill in Damaraland, with 360 degree views. Service, food, game drives (Elephants!) all well up to standard. Not cheap but certainly value for money. Our game driver was so enthousiastic it was a pleasure to spend time with him searching for the local elephants.

We rarely give 5 (out of five) stars, but this was our favourite place in our last trip to Namibia. The cabins/tents are good, not exceptional though, view and location is good, f'n'b also good, not outstanding but the service is: from the first moment you are adressed with your first name and everybody is most helpfull, friendly and nice.... What an amazing find. Incedible levels of service from all staff, brilliant food especially when you take into account that provisions only come in once a week, the camp setting is superalative, driving the Huab Rivey valley is a most gorgeous and breathtaking trip, and seeing the desert adapted ellies a highlight. The drives with Teek were excellent, and his... More

Looking back at our stay here over two months ago, it's hard to believe that I've got so many nice memories, having stayed here just two nights! Richard, our guide for our time in the camp, was excellent. Our first evening we visited a local village and spoke to some of the villagers, who were kind enough to show us... More

Our three night visit was truly memorable. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Their group singing fantastic. Our guide, Teek, was exceptional and it was like attending a geology masterclass on our drives, along with fascinating explanations of the fauna and flora. It made us really appreciate the area. We found lion, elephants, giraffe, jackal, oryx, springbok... and the... More

I don't think there is anything bad I can say about this camp. It has the ideal feeling of being in the middle of nowhere and in the same time among other people. The view from the common area is stunning especially early in the morning when you can watch the sunrise. It's a bit draughty in winter (we were... More

We adored our stay at DLC. The tents are comfortable, the surrounding areas are beautiful but what stands out the most is the wonderful staff. Everybody was so friendly and willing to help!
