We stayed in the permanent tents at the lodge from 3 July for 3 nights. When we checked in on the Friday afternoon we were given a choice of the available tents and were advised the tent number 5 was a favorite of the desert elephants when they walk through. Of course, knowing this my husband and daughter (both adventurous... More

Despite we arrived very late to the camp we were very nice welcomed by the staff. The camping site is open to the nature, from bathrooms and toilets themselves you could watch the bright stars. Hot water was always in the evenings. Sunrise was just great with sun illuminating rocks nearby. The White lady reservation and Twyfelfontain were great place... More

We spent one night in this lodge during our Namibia trip. The lodge was quite nice in its settings, bar staff was very accommodating, breakfast was decent, dinner was delicious! i had vege plate option and i couldn't stop eating it! the only thing i would recommend change is the lighting in the room. It was so dim i can... More

Our itinerary described the white lady tents as"luxury" which I am sure they were once. Ours was comfortable but the shower area light didn't work. We did get a warm shower though. We enjoyed the dinner in the restaurant and the singing and dancing group were entertaining. The staff were friendly and the service was better than other places we... More

The road into the lodge was in poor condition but the campsite itself was really good and well thought out - the ablutions were very basic but everything was clean, all ablution facilities in our block worked flawlessly and I had a great shower. Given that I'd picked up a severe stomach bug at Grosse Spitzkoppe I did not feel... More

Sleeping in a tent in Africa was a first for us. It wasn’t “glamping” but it wasn’t bad either. Good quality tent, comfortable beds, outside WC and a good shower with plenty of hot water. There was a BBQ/Braai area if you wanted it. I didn’t need insect spray but a gun would have helped to get rid of the... More

I think we were expecting more from this lodge as it had been recommended by a friend from Namibia tourism - however is was a welcome sight after hours on hard dirt roads up on our way to Etosha. The rooms are rather basic and are in need of a facelift however they are clean and we liked the open... More

We did not expect much from this lodge, is was the only one available in the area and we wanted to see the elephants. I am happy to say that all though the rooms are in desperate need of an upgrade, we were pleasantly surprised. The service was very good and the staff extremely friendly. Food was good. We were... We stayed here only for one night on our road trip and had a comfortable nights stay in a safari tent. Very much enjoyed the setting next to the river bed, but the lodge itself is a bit dated and the food quite basic. Would like to come back however to see the elephants.

Sitting all by itself about 30Km from Uis, i was very grateful that the woman in a tea shop/garden in Uis recommended I stop here for the night. It was low-season, just before the holiday timing in December. What a great location and find, with the Brandberg as a backdrop. I would categorize it as comfortable, rustic accommodation in the...
