About 40 minutes drive from the airport - as Air Madagascar (as usual) took off 6 hours' late we arrived after midnight to find the hotel driver waiting and then found a nice meal waiting for us in our room. We had a garden room with fan and aircon. One bottle of complimentary water (so essential in Madagascar) but no... More

Very nice charm and quite hotel. Is a 3 stars but i can say is better than some 4 stars hotels. The location is beautiful really long promenade during the low tide. The garden is studied in details. The SPA is great really good masseuse and free Jacuzzi (45 min massage 30€). On your arrival you have a welcome drink... More

Our stay at this hotel on Nose Be was a good choice. The hotel is situated in a beautiful tropical well maintained garden, with unusual plants and has 3 pools. The rimflow pool in front of the dining area is particularly enticing with lovely views of the beach and azure sea.The food was well presented and tasty. And the staff was... More

We were met at the airport by a lady. Not introducing herself, no name tag. No Welcome. Not, shall I assist with your luggage. How was your trip? She just turned and went off. At the car there was a huge man, the driver we learned, no introduction. On board: She told us the time it would take to transfer:... More

This is a Beautiful location on Nosey Be. Rooms were nice. Pools were nice. Gift shop didn't take visa cards or dollars but had som neat stuff. Bar service slow as they have an antiquated system to charge items to room. It's very relaxing to hang out there and they offer lots of excursions. you can get massages on the... More

Stayed for 2 nights at the end of Sept / beginning of Oct. Nice stay, prompt service. We arrived quite late (about 00:30) due to delays by Air Madagascar (what a terrible airline, stay away from them if at all possible), service was still 100% even that time of the night. We had a problem with the aircon on the... More

Lovely location and delightful garden, friendly staff and great food. Excellent spa facilities too. This is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax. Don't expect too much liveliness in the evenings as this isn't that sort of place. Excellent choice of excursions too. Highly recommended

After leaving Andilana Beach Hotel, we used Trip Advisor again, and checked into Hotel Vanila. Tried to pay for 6 nights using our credit card, but because their signals are intermittant, the payment didnt go through. I had to subsequently pay with travellors cheques. It was better than Andilana for sure, but not much. The pool area and garden was... More

Dear customer, Thank you for this review. In fact our garden is one of our strong points. Thank you for mentioning it. Debriefing on your comment, Marc, our restaurant Manager was astonished you found our meals “bland” because you showed much enthusiasm on our buffets. As you wrote, Marc “did his best to please” you. He does it with each... More

I had a really hard time picking a hotel in Nosy Be based on the reviews. I finally picked this little gem and we were thrilled. Local design with three small pools one above the next, in one area, and an infinity edge pool in the central area. All had great views out to the ocean. The room was basic... More
