I was a little concerned about staying in a tent but it was absolutely fabulous. The bathroom is not completely open because the tent is covered by a lodge. As for the staff, Haingo (manager ) was very helpfull but not pushy. Ouirdane was great and taught us how to play Katra when he had time,Philip was a very knowledgable guide... More

This is literally away from it all as you reach the resort via speedboat. It is idyllic, set on a beautiful beach with the back drop of the rainforest with Lemurs on your doorstep. Its very quiet and a restful place, we stayed 3 nights which was perfect especially as we were the only guests there at the time. We... More

Fantastic location, staff and accommodation. Bonus lemurs, sea turtles and birds in abundance. A perfect end to exploring Madagascar. Food was very good-offered the opportunity to eat lobster 'off menu' caught that day.

On our final night here, over a wonderful dinner, looking out over Palm trees to the sea, I asked my husband what he'd change about Eden Lodge. "Nothing" was the answer. Then after a few minutes he added " perhaps make the pillows a bit more comfy?" Eden Lodge is perfect. One of the best places I've ever stayed. Only... More

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. It is really high end. The location cannot be beaten. From the moment you arrive via speedboat & are greeted by the managers,to being shown your amazing bungalow (tent doesn't do it justice) to the 1st time you sample the food - utterly blown away! The staff are proffesional , unobtrusive & very... More

I stayed here with my family in August 2014. It really is a very special place. The rooms/tents are beautiful, the beach amazing, swimming with turtles a very special experience. We loved seeing the lemurs whilst playing pentanque in the evenings, and also took a couple of the guided hikes. The food is fine but not exceptional, but that is... More

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights as part of our honeymoon and it was amazing. The location is gorgeous and looks like a screensaver, my husband and I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. While we were there we were easily able to book scuba diving at Nosy Tanikely, and saw turtles, rays and lots of different... More

Spent three nights here after sailing islands around nosy be. It is heavenly. Beautiful beach with reef a few meters off shore where we swam with turtles. The new manager who had just arrived and her staff were very helpful and did everything with good grace. We played petanque and watched Nelson Mandela's funeral with the staff. The rooms are... We stayed for a week at the end of a two week trip to Madagascar. Coming off the boat from Nosy Be we were given a warm welcome by Fabien, the manager. He offered us breakfast as it was still very early, even though this was not included in our itinerary, before leaving us for a welcome snooze on the... More

After spending almost 3 weeks trekking in Madagascar, we had booked 5 nights at Eden Lodge. From the website the place looked amazing and we liked the fact that the location was remote. When we arrived at the beach we were welcomed by the General Manager. He was very polite and extremely friendly. He guided us around the site, showed... More
