This is my second attempt to write a fair and accurate review. After a week of waiting for approval from TripAdvisor? for my review to be posted, I will once again, give my experience of staying here for 6 days. Sometimes after one has some time to reflect, feelings change and perhaps my initial review was a bit critical. This... More

Dear JenniferNYCThailand, thank you very much for taking your time to rate our hotel. I had the pleasure to meet you personally and unfortunately you did not take your time to give your personal point of view to me in person, even if we spent more than a few minutes talking and I invited you to a nice bottle of... Giving anything less than 5 stars would not be imaginable. First I have to say we had been warned the place was very Italian, so we expected Italian music, food and entertainment-style. So, yes, this is an Italian-run resort so do expect a strong influence as lots of their clientele comes from Italy... We are not Italian and do not... More

We had an overnight stay at the hotel in November 2015. The staff at the hotel where amazing and very helpful. The food and device was of high standard and best of all was the beach..!! White sands and warm water. A true family place, lots of fun activities for the kids and family. Shows in the evening and fun... More

My husband and I went to the Andilana for 5 nights in October. The resort driver was waiting for us at the airport and we were quickly on our way to the resort, which takes about an hour. We really enjoyed the resort. Yes, it is an Italian destination, entertainment is in Italian, etc, but we were not bothered by... More

I think everything that needs to be said has been said multiple times. I had a very pleasant 7 day stay there, but yes, everything is in Italian. I found that it didnt pose such a big problem as some people may have suggested. I dont speak Italian and only know a few words of French, but found the staff... More

My husband and I spent 8 days at the resort. We think the hotel was a very good choice, although we had been 'warned' that it was extremely Italian and that without the knowledge of the language it was difficult to function there. That turned out to be partly true, but we have to admit everybody tried hard to communicate with... Absolutely FABULOUS! The thing about Andilana is that, it would be fine in an economically developed country or high touristic places like the Caribbean. But this is Madagascar, one of the toughest places to establish a business because of political and economical issues. So to pull such an excellent job out there is just amazing. We benefited from their "all... More

We arrived on the 1st September after travelling for almost two hours on a bumpy bad road from nosy be airport to the Hotel. The staff were friendly but could hardly understand English. ?????? I thought English is an international language... We were told that they operate one hour in advance so it was almost 10 o clock the evening.... More

Everything was fine, great food, beatiful beaches, good services, nice pool. It is all inclusive except bottled drinks and some extra activities. A very pleasant resort, except the fact that it is "too italian" for a resort in Madagascar. Also, it is somehow far from the town if you want to visit the local market for example.

Andilana Beach resort is in a beautiful location, wth two stretches of white sand beach. Nice pool. The resort is all inclusive, except you pay for bottled drinks. Pichers of soft drinks, water, and beer are severed at meals without charge. The restaurant provded a good selection of food including seafood, pasta, pizza, veggies, meat, fruit, and dessert.
