Located in a quiet secluded garden, the TICC is a basic guesthouse, with simple rooms with fans and ensuite bathrooms. There is a bar (Jungle Bar) with food in the grounds, and even better the relatively new (and trendiest in town) Chuck's bar next door 100 metres walk down the road. The staff, especially night security Mohamed are very friendly... More

You must not expect Euro standards in northern Ghana. This guest house is clean and serves an excellent breakfast (10 GHc per person, extra). A room with AC for two is 80 GHc. Yes, some glass is missing in the windows, but you can cover it with a plastic bag. The AC is noisy, but cools the room and think... More

Could not get an answer on the phone after 3 days of trying, so I arrived hoping that a room was available. Luckily, one was (the last one!). A surreal conversation with a heavily pregnant, and totally disinterested woman on the reception desk meant I didn't know whether I had the room for the following night, so I resolved to... More

Stayed here for a school trip in May. The place is not fancy by any means, but the rooms are clean, even if sparse. We had air conditioning and consistent electricity which was great. The bathrooms are just a wet room, but served its purpose. The bar/restaurant was good. The pizza was excellent and the service was great. Breakfast in... More

We stayed here for 5 nights while in Tamale and loved it! At 30 cedi a night for a double room with ensuite and fan you know its going to be basic but it is clean and the staff are lovely. The grounds are pretty and their is a nice bar called the Jungle Bar with a small but decent... More

I stayed here for one night - the grounds are very pleasant. Rooms were reasonable, clean with decent beds, the rooms were also a reasonable price. The bathrooms are small, but clean. I found the staff to be a little difficult - maybe I caught them on a bad day? :-) I went for breakfast only to be told I... More

People are very friendly and will set you up with someone to take you to Mole if you want (we paid 200 cedi a day plus gas, taxis from airport offer 250 cedi to Mole). The beds are very uncomfortable, a/c did not work very well, towels were not provided, and our toilet leaked water all over the bathroom floor.... More

We started at catholic guesthouse and found it disgusting so we walked the five more minutes to TICCS guesthouse. Super happy we did! It is cheaper and way cleaner. At 23 cedis for a double with fan and fridge it is a bargain. The beds are a bit springy but acceptable. The bathroom is cramped but clean. The towels are... More

TICCs are at beautiful grounds with the cosy junglebar. Rooms are basic but fine. Closeby is the Swad Fastfood restaurant which has nice food. TICCs is a fine place to stay in Tamale. And the price is very fair.
