Wow! What a wonderful four day trip to the north of Ghana that was capped off by a stay in this beautiful hotel on our last night. My friend and I found the name of Moses and his tour company online and agreed to a price for a car/tour guide for our three day trip to Mole National Park. Moses... More

Thank you Don C for your wonderful review, especially for Moses who always take his time to give a nice taste of the Northern Region of Ghana to our guests. African Dream Hotel is out of Tamale town and most of our guests appreciate the nature of our natural park. Annelyse & Abu Prince More

I had been to Ghana already few times and so I knew what to expect from most "non chain" "non 5 stars" hotels there. So expectations were not very high. What an unexpected suprise! The hotel is very new and nicely decorated. Rooms are spacious, with a nice african touch, but with all the basic western confort. I guess that... More

The grounds of the hotel were beautiful and they are currently adding more rooms in new buildings. The rooms were clean and big. The owner will also take you (at no additional cost) to and from the airport or to and from the center of Tamale if you arrive by car. All the staff were very friendly and hospitable. No... More

Our stay at the African Dream Hotel was very pleasant - the owners and staff were helpful, courteous and went the extra mile. The rooms were squeaky clean and it was lovely to see that the décor was made from locally sourced goods, for instance the weave baskets, Ghanaian cloth etc. Also, may I also say - something that always... Tamale is about 700kms north of Accra, not that far from the border with Burkino Faso. Two or three domestic airlines fly daily. The one-hour return flight cost us GHC 420 (about USD170) with Starbow in a BA146, full on the Friday trip north, neatly empty on the way back three days later. African Dream Hotel is about 10kms north of... More

We came across the African Dream Hotel quite by chance and were delighted with what it had to offer. We initially planned to stay for 3 nights, then spent 5 in total due to connecting flight issues. Prince and his team were charming, helpful and accommodating, enabling us to source drivers for our forays further afield easily. There were 6... More

African dream is on the outskirts of Tamale. It's easier to get from the hotel into town then it is to get from town to the hotel as every taxi driver believes it's REALLY far away (it's far, but not THAT far). So be careful negotiating taxi fares back to the hotel as they'll want to charge you loads. The... More

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel last November. The rooms were super comfortable and clean. The owner was super fun and friendly. The waiter at the time was quite young and inexperienced and made me wait for a long time for my dinner without giving any reason. Once I complained to the owner he resolved the problem immediately and... More

This hotel was an oasis in a desert of poor hotels in Tamale. Ziblim rescued us from the Radach Lodge where we were infested with cockroaches. His lovely wife made us very welcome and we had a nice clean comfortable room, bug and mosquito free. We had the internet, beer and good food and Ziblim was always happy to drive... More
