Its location makes it an amazing and relaxing stay for all travelers I believe. Me and my wife spent our two days peacefully at Ghana Spirit. Going on a stroll to the beach which was quite adjacent was very refreshing. If you ask much about the hotel, I would say it is just satisfactory with all its services and staff.... More

Once you find this place (which is a bit tricky and there roads are bad), you'll find one of the most beautiful and undisturbed beaches around. The nature setting is simply fantastic. So we were pleasantly surprised at first. The rooms are ok, nothing fancy at all. But good for heading down to the restaurant area and sitting relaxing a... More

In my three months in Ghana, this was the best place I stayed at. The food was great and fresh- my friends said the fish was their favourite meal during their trip. We also normally didn't have to wait very long after we ordered (unlike many other places...). The people are really friendly and the dorms were really clean. The... More

I am proud to say that I was at Ghana Spirit, (purely by chance I admit) on its opening at Christmas 2007. Its located 20 mins walk down the beach from the Hideout (see my review of that) a few minutes before Fanta's Folly (well worth a visit, for the food alone). It has some stiff competition from these two... More

Me and my girlfriend arrived at the Hide Out, just 10 mins walk down the beach from Ghana Spirit. We were looking to chill out after getting ill backpacking the country. It seems that one or the other can be busy - we were the only folk in the Hide Out and it was downright miserable. As such, we moved... More

I spent Christmas here a few days after the Ghana Spirit had opened and had a great time. The food was excellent and the couple running it lovely, friendly and helpful. The hostel is right on a swimmable beach and has a couple of private chalets and two shared dorms.
