It's cheap to stay here, the rooms are fine, some huts need some maintenance. But for the price it's very ok! The location is perfect, on the beach close to the other restaurants, bars and surfshops. It has a big beach and 'garden' to relax and read your book which is great. It's a relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff. For... More

We stayed here for two nights after deciding busua inn was just a little out of our price range. When we were there it was very quiet, so unlike some other reviews we didn't have any trouble having to wait for the two showers/ toilets that are available. Gifty checked us in on arrival and was lovely, she also made... More

We made a booking, 1 week on forehand for a room self-contained. We reconfirmed are room the day self and we would arrive late in the evening. Arriving at the hotel, the place was dark and no-one to receive us. After a few calls, a girl attended to us with the key of the room which was not self-contained,really smelly... More

My husband has stayed there several times, but this was our first with kids. Very Clean - beautiful beach. Quiet. Easy walk into town. Easy walk to watch the amazing Fishermen load and unload their boats on the beach. Only negatives for me: food overpriced and beds not that comfortable. Will definitely go back though.

I can agree with what another reviewer said: "could be so much better". There definitely are some down parts: There are only 2 toilets and showers for the whole hostel, the staff is typically Ghanaian: slow (if working at all) and rude; the beds are so bad you would rather lay on the floor; the food is totally overpriced and... 4 people (2 double beds) bungalow: 50 cedis/night. Facilities: fan, toilet paper, soap provided. Shared bathroom, right at the beach, polite staff. Relaxed atmosphere: apart from one "real" resort, Busua mostly attracts backpackers.

My friends and I were exploring Ghana, and decided to hit the beach for the last night. We asked the cab driver to just take us to the beach, so he took us to the fancier resort close by. We didn't want to spend a lot of money, so we walked down the beach exploring other options when we happened... More

The staff are rude and will try to charge you for cleaning your room, will never have the correct change to give you when buying anything so that you leave it as a tip. They have dogs and monkeys that will beg when you eat , the small monkey will jump on you and the table to steal food ,... More
