Nice stay on business. Very clean; quiet; friendly staff. No room service, no bar and the manager's reception was not so great. Other than this, it was a nice stay in a good sized room. more

I spent the weekend to visit my daughter at Stony Brook. It's about a 15 min. drive to the college straight up Nichols Rd. This was a very comfortable, large room. It had a kitchen, table and chairs, couch and chair, and a queen size bed. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The only complaints I... more

The worst part of our hotel stay was the mattress. It was so uncomfortable it prevented a good night's sleep. The other major problem was the air conditioner never fully cooled the rooms. A minor problem was the tv was old - didn't have great reception. The bathroom was clean but seem dated. Although we were Marriott rewards members our... more

The first time I stayed at this property was about 4 years ago when it had just opened. I am impressed that they managed to keep it looking brand new. The carpet was clean enough to walk on barefooted! The rest of the room was immaculate as well. That almost never happens! The indoor pool was a nice treat. We saw... more

My love and I stayed here to get away for the St. Valentine's/Presidents Day weekend. It's nice and clean, spotless really, the staff was so friendly and helpful. the rooms were great with convenience, large fridge with icemaker, stove, micro, sink, dishwasher, but, no conventional oven. the reservation promised a queen bed, however, it was a full bed. I did... more

We've stayed in several "suite" hotels, but this is one of the best. Our unit was comfortable and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing a meal. When I requested a rubber mat for the bath tub, it was delivered within 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, in my opinion.... more

I stay at a lot of Marriotts and Residence Inns. This one is good but not great. I got the one bed room which is the same size as the studio but with a wall. The shower pressure was very low. The hotel was clean with the exception of the workout room which smelled horribly of sweat, mildew and a... more

Stayed on Long Island to visit my husband's grandmother at her new home in June with our two young kids. Booked a one-bedroom suite through the Residence Inn web site. We checked in late and were told that our room (handicapped, which we didn't request) was given away and they were looking for an available room. The room we were... more
