We found the Inn to be the perfect quick get-away for us! Although our room was one of the smaller ones, it was immaculate, and very comfortable. The attention to detail in our room was delightful. During our two-night stay, Deborah made sure that we wanted for nothing. She and her staff made sure we felt like we were friends... More

This Berkshire treasure continues to make us smile as we return home from our 5th annual 4-night stay. Its central location, idyllic setting (complete with beautiful grounds made for relaxing), delicious breakfasts (our personal favorite being the frittata served with fresh fruit), pleasant rooms and, most importantly, its friendly, accessible, helpful innkeeper, Deborah (who has spot-on suggestions about restaurants and... We recently spent 2 nights at the Inn at Green River. This is a lovely property, very comfortable, with fantastic breakfasts (the scones with the pear ginger jam!) a pretty garden to wander through, and of course, the very attentive innkeeper, Deborah, who made sure we enjoyed our stay. A shout out to Zelda the cat who became my special... More

The Inn at Green River was such a treat. Deborah had confirmed our reservation the night before and had asked if we wanted a dinner reservation to be made in advance -- what service! She was a wonderful Innkeeper, incredibly welcoming and my mother and I felt right at home. It was a very peaceful stay and she gave us... More

We stayed for a night while visiting the country living fair in rhinebeck While not in Rhinebeck, we sought for a place away from the fair and had a great drive thru the country that was easy and had much to see along the way. Very clean, relaxing, and welcoming! Deb was a kind and helpful hostess. We will be... More

Thank you - "GabeKatz" - so pleased that you chose to stay a bit north of Rhinebeck, and enjoyed all that this area has to offer - gorgeous countryside, great farm to table restaurants, a wide variety of antique shops, not to mention museums and historic sites. Lots for you to do on your next visit which I hope will... More

The Inn at Green River is the perfect place to stay when exploring the upper Hudson Valley or the Berkshires. Its setting is lovely, on a quiet road, but within an easy drive of restaurants, shops, and hiking. We upgraded to the Martin Van Buren Room, a king with a fireplace (and an extra twin), as well as a walk... More

Dear "lakespring" - It was a pleasure having you both here, and I look forward to seeing you and your family back at Thanksgiving! As you noted, our location on the border of Massachusetts makes us a great home base for exploring both the upper Hudson Valley and the Berkshires...and you won't run out of places, museums, historic houses, etc... The Inn was as beautiful in person as it was on the website. The breakfasts were delicious and the room was clean, cozy and inviting! Deborah, the innkeeper, was lovely and made us feel right at home. Far enough away to relax in the wilderness but close enough to the local cities to visit antique shops, museums, the Rail Trail... Being parents of young children, we were looking for a getaway that was not too far from home, but a change of pace and scenery where we could relax. The Inn at Green River provided that comfortable, private and accommodating space. All of the amenities were superb, and breakfast prepared by Deborah in the four seasons room surrounded by windows... More

We felt so pampered with all of the thoughtful details (especially the warmed coffee mugs)! The Inn is beautiful, hospitality is amazing and breakfast SO delicious! We especially loved the baked apple recipe! We have told so many of our friends and family about our wonderful stay, and look forward to returning!

Just returned from 4 days, 3 nights at the Inn at Green River and have to say we're already talking about going back! LOVED this Inn!
