My wife and I spent a couple nights at the inn Christmas week and found it to be delightful. We stayed in 2 rooms while at the Inn both were fabulous quiet and comfortable. I love the look and feel of this place not over the top feminine like many Inn's. The host made sure we made good use of... More

Hi Kenneth J - Thank you so much for taking the time to review your stay at the Inn. Also thank you for being willing to change rooms as your first choice was not available the second night of your stay, but I think you enjoyed the different qualities of each. And I LOVE that you and your wife went... More

We stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend, our second stay at this inn. Despite a snow storm, Deborah carried on as usual, serving her delicious breakfasts and working to be sure each guest (the inn was full) had personal attention. Our room was very comfortable, and had its own gas fireplace. I think this is one of the cleanest places I... More

Dear "lakespring" - This Thanksgiving certainly was an adventure with the snow storm. Thank you for returning to the Inn, this time with more of your family. More

We had a perfect two night stay in late October. Deborah is a welcoming hostess and had wonderful suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We love to hike and she recommended several options, leading us to beautiful waterfalls, forests, mountains, farmlands, and the Appalachian trail. Pictures cannot do justice to the beauty we experienced both around her... More

Julie, so glad you and Bob enjoyed your stay, both at the Inn, and as you hiked and explored our beautiful region. Whenever I am away, I always breath deeply and start to relax as soon as I drive back into Columbia County...it is so beautiful and peaceful here! Hope you will come back and visit in another season...there is... More

My wife and I just returned from two nights at the Inn at Green River. Deborah took such great care of us while we were with her. She has such a great passion for what she is doing. The home and the grounds are lovely. The rooms are super cozy and comfortable. Compared to our other B & B experience... More

Dear Cy and J. - Thanks so much for taking the time to comment about your stay at the Inn, and your enjoyment of our region which straddles both the upper Hudson Valley and the Berkshires. Glad you also enjoyed the "cozy and comfortable" Crandell room. Please come back - you can't see it all in two days. PS. Did... More

We spent two perfect nights at The Inn at Green River in early September on a short trip to Thomas Cole's Cedar Grove and Frederick Church's Olana in the Hudson Valley. The Inn is a beautiful rural drive west of the river, convenient to the Berkshires and to Stockbridge, Massachusetts, where we visited the Norman Rockwell Museum. Close by there... More

Dear P & S - I so enjoyed meeting you both. That is the best part of the bed and breakfast business - the chance to meet and enjoy the company of some wonderful folks! PS, Haven't seen those pileated woodpeckers since....wasn't that a lucky show for the breakfast guests! More

I just returned from an extended stay at this lovely B&B (six nights) and loved everything about it. It is perfectly located in the upper Hudson Valley between the Hudson area and the Berkshires so it is a great base for exploring many attractions, yet you are right in the middle of beautiful farmland. My room was just beautiful and... More

Dear J.N. It was a pleasure to have you here for your week of rest, relaxation, hiking, antiquing, etc in the Berkshires and Columbia County. I enjoy having guests here for longer than the usual weekend getaway - 1, because you really get a chance to unwind, and 2, because I get to know you a bit better! Thanks again... More

We were hoping to find accomodations in the Hudson River Valley. After calling some places suggested by friends and finding everything booked, we looked on Tripadvisor which has never let us down. We came across The Inn At Green River. We were told by the innkeeper that it was in the Hudson River Valley, however, we found out that everything... More

We had a very lovely last minute stay at the Inn. We were not originally planning on heading to the Berkshires but were glad we did. This property is lovely with plenty of charm but also feels up to date, clean and comfortable. Deborah very nicely accommodated us after another Inn took our credit card but did not have a... More

Had a more than wonderful time at this charming inn. Star gazing especially beautiful. Restaurants in the area were fantastic. Was treated to a couple great meals, especially one for my birthday. The inn accommodated us with delicious cookies in the evening while we played cards and enjoyed our wine.

Thank you, Bill D. So pleased you enjoyed your stay at the Inn, including the molasses cookies and the star gazing. Did you see that spectacular "supermoon" last night? It lit up the sky here in Green River where there is little ambient light to interfere. Hope to see you and your friends here again! More

We stayed 3 nights in this fantastic Inn and couldn't have been happier. Deborah, the owner, is friendly and accommodating and a wealth of information about the surrounding area. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We only were there for one breakfast, but Deb was careful to ask about allergies and preferences and the food was delicious, a great start... More

Dear Meg S - Thanks so much for taking the time to review the inn. I love your comments about being lulled to sleep by the bubbling water in the fish pool behind the inn. So glad you enjoyed your stay, and I hope to see you again soon. More
