This place is fine, but nothing more. Many of the reviews concentrate on the great grounds. Being there in winter, we didn't get to spend time on the grounds. My wife and I booked the Garden Room for a one night stay. We had a wonderful time. The breakfast in the morning was great. Both the room and the grounds were wonderful and we had a lovely dinner in New Palz, only 10 minutes away. We will definitely be back.

I would avoid staying in the Mahogany room located on the first floor. You can hear everything that goes on in the room directly above you and unfortunately, the people staying above us were not exactly light on their feet.
