My wife and I booked the Garden Room for a one night stay. We had a wonderful time. The breakfast in the morning was great. Both the room and the grounds were wonderful and we had a lovely dinner in New Palz, only 10 minutes away. We will definitely be back. more

This was the first time I stayed at a B & B. I've stayed at many Inns, but nothing with less than 10 rooms. I was a little concerned by a few reviews regarding "The Rules", and a little apprehensive about making the reservations. I went with my gut and was very glad that i did. The Grounds, beautifully landscaped,... more

The pros: - The grounds were really lovely and nicely landscaped. If you're looking for a country escape this is a great one. - The location was great- close to Hyde Park, New Paltz and other attractions and there was information on the area provided by the B&B which was helpful - The bed was so comfortable! Also there were... more

Excellent. My husband and I are repeat visitors and are going back again for our fourth time in February 2007. The food is excellent, the amenities are perfect and the house rules aren't a problem at all. I go there to relax and don't want to hear a jacuzzi after 10pm or before 10am. Tim's dogs are so well behaved... more

I would avoid staying in the Mahogany room located on the first floor. You can hear everything that goes on in the room directly above you and unfortunately, the people staying above us were not exactly light on their feet. The floor squeeked when they walked around and you could hear the jacuzzi which is quite loud. Thank goodness the... more

We recently returned from our vacation in Highland Manor B&B, and we still can’t get the smile off of our faces. We loved every minute of our stay, from the minute we drove up the driveway. Surrounded by nature and distant from any main road, this beautiful house is surrounded by trees and has a big lovely garden in front... more

This was just what the doctor ordered. We truly enjoyed our stay. When we arrived we ran into a small gliche as a storm went through and our air wasn't working (generator was on). Luckily, we were headed to dinner (Italian - La Station - excellent service and food in New Paltz) and when we returned - the electric/air was... more

I just came back from a 4th of july weekend there, this place was quite relaxing and in the middle of nowhere. I paid $400 for 2 nights, we got there on saturday afternoon and left on monday morning. This is about a 15-20 minute drive to CIA (culinary institute of america) and 15 minute ride to new paltz (an... more
