I have visited this B&B 5 times since July. It is only a 2-hour drive from Manhattan. Every visit is equally enjoyable. The B&B's location is perfect if you are a runner, bicyclist or walker as it borders the Rail Trail and is only one mile from the Walkway Over the Hudson. It also is located in the heart of... More

Visited CIA and wanted to spend the weekend enjoying the surroundings. We could not have found a more perfect place. The Innkeeper, Nancy, was as charming as indicated in the reviews we read beforehand. The place was farmhouse chic, super clean, comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed the front porch, our cheese and crackers, the living room and her wonderful selection... More

We were able to get a room at peak color time in late October. We had Room 1 which includes a large jacuzzi tub, a great way to end a long day of hiking and biking. Some people will reject this place because it has queen beds instead of king, but that is not a problem for my wife and... More

The Inn At Twaalfskill was absolutely everything that I good hope for. We loved the Inn and Nancy is the perfect hostess, cook and just the perfect Innkeeper. We looked forward to see what her delicous breakfasts would be each morning. Also the Inn is located next to the bike path that takes you to the Walkway over The Hudson and... More

I have done a few reviews and given them excellent ratings but how do I give this one more? I wondered how her ratings were all so consistently the best and have now experienced WHY! Nancy should be teaching others "how to run a B and B"! Every little details is truly perfect! We loved our stay last week and... More

I just returned home (Switzerland) this morning from a 4 day trip to Marist College (Poughkeepsie) getting my son settled in some off campus housing. It was a very stressful 4 day trip between the time change, and everything that needed to be done. I drove up and down Route 9 time to various shops everyday to make the place... More

The room was tip top with a beautifully done bath. The home has a nicely landscaped yard with plenty of parking. The Breakfasts were truly outstanding, as good as I have had anywhere. I couldn't eat all of what was presented at breakfast(I'm not a delicate eater!!!)The leftover breakfast sweet breads were packaged up for us and left on our... More

Just spent a few days at this Inn, and we had a great time. Nancy is an excellent host who makes a fine breakfast, and has wonderful taste in decorating her inn. Very comfortable room with huge bathroom. Very close to the Hudson River and the Mid-Hudson bridge crossing, which made our trip to Hyde Park and the CIA for... More

My husband and I met out every need at this inn. The place is immaculate, decorated in the most imaginative of ways, but what really "made" the trip was Nancy, the owner . Never intrusive , never pushy , she answered all our many questions and elaborated in the best way We saw things I believe we would not have... More

Great B and B. Comfortable quiet room. Excellent breakfast that changed every day. Owner nancy is delightful. Very knowledgable about things to do. Location is ok. Most sights are on other side of river but easy to get to. Traffic was never a problem.
