The Inn at Twaalfskill was by far the best B&B we've been to. The place was beautiful. The home was totally renovated in 2005, and was impecibly done. The decor and ambiance are also beautiful, with the most wonderful antiques in every room of the house. The place is absolutely spotless. And the outdoor garden area is like a little... more

My husband and I just returned from one night at the Inn at Twaalfskill, and were positively blown away by our visit. We've stayed at a fair number of B&Bs, and this is without a doubt one of our favorites. We stayed in Room 1, which was beautiful and perfectly clean - with a small vase of fresh flowers on... more

A real gem in the Mid-Hudson Valley area between NYC and Albany. This charming, small & friendly restored 1902 Vidtorian Home is an inviting, relaxing Bed and Breakfast Inn. It's a short drive from N.Y.C. through gorgeous countryside. The location is ideal - close to the Culinary Institute, Hyde Park, mansions of Vanderbilt and Rockerfeller , Storm King Art Center... more

My husband and I just returned from our week-end stay at this lovely B&B and it was, by far, the best experience we've ever had, and we've stayed at quite a few of them. The place is just lovely, the rooms are immaculate, the breakfast in the bright and cheerful dining room was simply "to die for" , and it... more

We am reluctant to post a comment because we want to keep this place to ourselves. But we owe it to Nancy the inn keeper. Almost all of the reviews on tripadvisor are excellent, and we could not agree more. The Inn at Taalfskill is a rare find - it is inviting, warm, comfortable and extremely clean. Then there are... more

Nancy and Eric (and Nancy's Mom!) As usual, The Inn at Twaaflskill has surpassed expectations! From the comfortable beds and spacious rooms to the beautiful surroundings. (Everything is always spotless! ) Once again thank you for making our daughter's graduation weekend wonderful! The "grandmother's" haven't stopped talking about what a great time they had, from "sneaking" downstairs for their early... more

When it comes to customer care in a superb, comfortable environment with fantastic catering, the Inn at Twaalfskill is at the top of the list. It was simply brilliant and I'd be at that Inn again without hesitation. Thank you for making me feel so welcome. The attention to detail in the rooms and willingness to help on any matter... more

My mom and I fell in love with this inn! We were there visiting the CIA and we have never been to that part of NY; the owner made us feel very comfortable and welcome! She is absolutely wonderful to have a conversation with, and her dog is just adorable! We will definitely be back! The breakfast was outstanding too,... more

Ok, after reading all these reviews, it is hard to find something original to say. All the 5 star reviews are so on the money! The Inn is such an amazing, wonderful place to stay, so much so that this would be the first time I would prefer to stay here a SECOND time rather than try out a new... more

We loved staying here. The house was lovely. Our room was large, comfortable, immaculately clean, and quiet. We could have stayed a week and been perfectly content. Nancy was kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and discrete-- the perfect host. She knew the area inside and out, and gave us lots of tips on how to get the most out of our short... more
