About a month ago, I visited nearby New Paltz with some friends. Instead of staying in the grimy motel right off the Thruway, my girlfriend and I decided on this place, which had reasonably-priced rooms. I must say, I was impressed. It doesn't have any kind of luxury feel (unless you like wooden paneling from a bygone era), but it's... More

Stayed one night on my way to a wedding upstate. It's a simple roadside motel-- nothing fancy, but absolutely fine for a night on the road. Staff was friendly, room was small but extremely clean. Laminate floors in the room were shiny and new, shower had great pressure and lots of hot water. No evidence of any pests. My room... More

I stayed here for one night: the room was very clean, the staff was friendly and efficient, and the price was right. The decor is something out of a time capsule from the early 1970s, but that gives it charm.

When I arrived there was no record of my booking. This was resolved very well and I got a very nice room. I found the bed very comfortable and slept well. I was in the main building but most of the rooms are in single story buildings. The motel is near the Walkway over the Hudson and there is a... More

Traveled to upstate New York to attend my niece's wedding which she planned outside the city where she lives. The Hudson River is gorgeous any time of year and the Atlas Motor Lodge is a wonderful alternative to the other Bed & .Breakfast facilities that dominate the lodging choices. The rooms are spacious and clean and have nice amenities; flat... More

So this must be at least the 4th time I've stayed here. I always use the same room, it's always perfect this time there was a new refrigerator and microwave. My room was a large, clean, with a hair blower, good air conditioning, a couch. Two sink areas, & a shower with such high pressure that I wondered if I... More

The hotel manager/owner was incredibly pleasant. The hotel is "dated" but they keep it spotlessly clean and well maintained. We looked at several hotels in the area and this was by far the best option.

I checked into the Atlas Motor Lodge around 9 or 930 pm, and whatever candle was burning in the main lobby area smelled really good. (I wish I asked what the fragrance was!) Anyway, I stayed in the main building, so I didn’t get to see what the inside of the rest of the place looked like, but the grounds... More

We reserved a room at Atlas on short notice. It was comfortable with a large fridge and good IP service. The rooms appear to vary in size, but the ones I saw were clean and tidy. The 'Walkway Over the Hudson', with its beautiful views up and down the River valley, is a 1/2-mile walk from Atlas.
