This campground was very well set up, and about 30 minutes from Cooperstown, NY. Mostly tent sites lined the wonderful river that flowed by the camp. There were a few cabins and trailer spaces as well. We got the tent site all the way at the end and LOVED it. It had it's own little beach and each tent site... More

We booked this because we were traveling with our grandchildren and they offered a lot of activities. We brought t-shirts for tie dying and flashlights for the candy hunt etc ect, all advertised on their website. Well forget it, that's only for the weekend campers. Now, we paid the same rate as the weekend campers but had NONE of the... More

Spent 4th of July weekend here. The campground was full but still surprisingly very quiet. My daughter enjoyed the organized crafts and activities. All the kids enjoyed playing in the creek. The creek is was quite large and due to the large amount of rain received was moving very quickly . Bring your tubes and fishing gear. Of course we... More

We loved it here! The Deluxe Cabin was definitely worth the extra expense and I can honestly say that this is the prettiest campground that I have ever stayed at. We all had a ball playing in the West Canada Creek (don't let the name fool you, that's a river not a creek) and you can't beat how close it... More

This campground was amazing! It’s the best of both worlds… camping on a riverbank with beautiful scenery, the sound of rushing water and picnic table, fire pit and grill for the authentic camping experience but still just a short walk away from bathrooms and civilization. The place is immaculate – the grounds are well maintained, the bathrooms are spotless and... More

Wonderful place to stay! The staff were friendly and very accommodating. if you are hungry go across the road to the crystal chandelier restaurant and pub what a great place! The locals made us feel right at home and the homemade greens were to die for! Thanks to everyone! Chris and Cleo

The KOA does offer good amenities though the prices seem to keep climbing and soon many families will not be able to participate as they charge per person, per night. The addition of new cabins with A/C and running water to a tent pad offers a variety of options for many persons. Our visit to the KOA is always during... More

well run, comfortable, clean, organized, friendly, safe, accommodating. yes, there may be a few glitches, but none to turn this Happy Camper into a mad camper. I look forward to my next visit. The Deluxe cabins are well supplied with linens, towels, amenities in the kitchenette.......a very comfy stay. TV was outdated, with no remote...but it worked and there was... More

Herkimer KOA was an all in all pleasant experience with a few bumps in the road. First, check in was a cinch, even though we arrived at the site before check in time, it was only a matter of moments before we were allowed to occupy the cabin we stayed in. The front desk woman was a little less then... More

Stayed here last year in a creekside Deluxe Cabin. It was great. Only cabins available this time were the Kamping Kabins. These are a basic no frills cabin. We knew that going into the weekend and were prepared for it. Temps dropped into the 50's at night so we needed to use the space heater provided in each Cabin. Ours... More
