This is one of the most disgusting hotels I have had the displeasure of staying in for some time. The room was tired, very tired. Obvious rot around the window. An air conditioner that made noise and sometimes made cold air. Peeling plastic (?) on the inside of the tub. Rot around the base of the tub and the bathroom... More

Stayed here one night during my package trip to Niagara Falls. Spacious rooms, comfortable stay. Pool is nice. Had beer at the bar. This property is smoke free, so you have to go all the way out for smoking.

We stayed at the RIT for a hockey tournament. Asked for a renovated room in the West wing. The room was very clean, had a mini frig, microwave. Mattresses were small but new and comfortable. Found it very quiet in the rooms. The bathroom was older but spotless. Went on the Friends and Family Picnic deal which you get through... More

I was in town for a wedding reception. The reception hall was awesome. The food was great. The staff was professional and courteous. The issue? The hotel rooms and hallways had a stench about them. I cannot describe what it was that I was smelling, but it was overwhelming. The trim in the bathroom was rusty and falling apart. The... More

An explanation on the strange hotel location - the Thruway (I90) used to have an exit on 15 right next to the hotel. After I390 opened, the Thruway exit was moved. This hotel is old but I couldn't find anything else wrong with it. Nobody notices the good things about the hotel because the old things stick out too much.... More

Our room was seriously in need of an update. The room smelled musty when we entered; there was a suspicious black colouring around the sliding door which opened about 2 inches. Water continued to pool in the bathroom, seeming to come through the tiles. We reported this to the front desk and a person came to check but the water... More

I stayed here as part of a group and my room was a good size with two double beds. The bathroom was a nice size but the ventilation was not adequate to take the steam from the shower. The bathroom door had to be left open so the mirrors didn't fog up. The linens were very nice. Some rooms had... More

A quick trip to Rochester area resulted in an overnight at the RIT Inn. The price was right, the bed very comfy, the bathroom clean and spacious and the TV worked. Couldn't ask for more. I would definitely stay again. Easy on/off from the Thruway.

The inn is a bit older than other hotels in the area but it is very clean and well maintained. The staff was very polite and the inn has a good location for visiting the surrounding area. This is all we need when visiting our son in college, if you are looking for any flash try something else.

Despite fairly negative reviews on TA we took our chances on a single night at a great price and were pleasantly surprised. Yes, the place is a little tired, and some of the decor is outdated even. But our rooms were clean, big and comfortable. Everything worked fine and service was good. There was a crack in the bathroom sink... More
