We stayed in the Lilac room and it was wonderful. Ted and Terry, the hosts, were informative and genial company, there if we needed something but not intrusive. The breakfasts were the best I've ever had at a B&B. The french toast and egg souffle were amazing! Centrally located on the East side of Seneca Lake.

Magnolia Place and the surrounding grounds were lovely. The breakfast each morning was a gourmet treat. We splurged for a bedroom with private bath and our own entrance to the balcony, which provided views of the vineyards leading down to the lake. I would highly recommend this! The location was ideal for exploring wineries up and down the east side... More

I've been remiss in adding my review as it's been almost 2 months since we were there. My husband & I decided to take an impromptu trip up to the Watkins Glen area for a few days after the 4th of July holiday. I found the listing for Magnolia Place by accident while on Google Maps & looked it up... More

We spent a wonderful weekend at Magnolia Place. Ted welcomed us warmly, as did the Inn's dog, Irish. Ted showed us around the inn, where we would be eating breakfast, where we could get water, etc. Our room was very comfortable, and the view from the upper deck was incredible: overlooking vineyards down to Seneca Lake. The breakfasts were amazing,... More

We went to Seneca Lake to tour wineries. Found this place and I would happily go back just to eat breakfast. Our room was the Vintners at the back and it was lovely and comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was to die for and the front porch was the perfect place to just sit and watch the world go... More

We choose the Magnolia Place B&B from the internet and could not have been more pleased. Owners Ted & Terri were great host serving a wonderful breakfast. The Inn is centrally located to many wineries. Rooms were sparkling clean, as well as the common area. We enjoyed the balcony off of our room, as well as mornings on the porch.... More

This was our first stay at a B&B and we had a wonderful vacation. The location is perfect as are the views! Terrie and Ted along with Irish the black lab are great hosts. We looked forward to Ted's breakfast each day and we were not disappointed! Will definately return!

We stayed here for a weekend visit. The house was charming but also updated and well cared for. There's a nice wrap-around porch to relax on before breakfast or after dinner. Breakfasts were delicious and filling. Check in was simple, the house is extremely clean. The house Labrador retriever will take you for a walk around the property, which we... More

One of the best B&B's ever! Ted & Irish, the dog, made you feel like family. Wonderful location/view of vineyards & Seneca Lake, great house, well-appointed guest rooms and, of course, the delicious, scrumptious breakfast. Not far from Watkins Glen. Highly recommended.

Overall, an amazing place to stay with seasoned hosts that care. You'll likely feel like you are staying with friends of friends instead of a 'guest' at a hotel. Absolutely NO reservations about staying here again! Pros: - The hosts and their dog, Irish, are amazing and work hard all day to ensure a happy stay for everyone. - Breakfasts... More
