We spent two nights in this hotel. The receptionist, Rosie, was very friendly and accommodating. A full breakfast is included in the price of your room and the waitress we had one morning was terrific - friendly and attentive. I liked ordering my breakfast from a menu rather than serving myself at a buffet, as you do at most hotels.... More

Stopped there for lunch. This is a charming hotel out of the distant past. This area of upstate NY has some of the most beautiful scenery in the world but the economy departed a long time ago. The town is depressed as is the area, but this gem sticks out as a remembrance of the past. My lunch was fried... More

Best Inn in or around Hancock, NY. The staff tries very hard, the rooms are clean amd quiet. My only criticism is that its time for new mattresses. They are old. Its expensive during camp visiting days, if they would uograde the beds, it would be worth it.

We stopped twice, breakfast and lunch. The staff was very friendly, fun and accommodating . We were Harley Davidson bikers and will plan a group ride and stay from Canandaigua , NY. A small town in a beautiful region and Route 97 is a great road along the Delaware River!!

Very friendly staff. The room was very nice but basic. No refrigerator, no coffee pot, etc.. We had a double queen room that had plenty of space and was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large and nicely done. Nice soaps & shampoo & even makeup remover. The window liner fell when we tried to open it. The rate included... More

The hotel is nice but it's to expensive to be in no where land very depressing. There dinners can be better the breakfast sucks! The food prices are fine the renting the rooms are crazy If they where cheaper maybe they would have more business the owners have take into consideration there in the middle of nowhere land. WAY TO... More

Great treasure found in the Catskills. Incredibly friendly staff who was very patient with all my travel changes due to weather. They were very accomodating. The staff in all areas were wonderful and nice to interact with.

We were driving home from Buffalo, NY to NYC the day after Thanksgiving and needed a place to stop. We tried the restaurant first - the food was good, the service friendly, the atmosphere cozy. We decided to spend the night, and our room was lovely, large and quiet. I understand that during certain seasons (hunting and summer camp) it's... More

This was our first stay at the Hancock House Hotel. We stayed for 3 nights during a parents weekend for our child at a camp closeby. We had to book more than a year in advance. After staying at the hotel, we now know why it is booked up. We had a second floor room with a balcony which was... More
