The Black Inn is the most wonderful place. I can't say enough about the hospitality, comfort and breakfasts. Deb and Mark are the consummate hosts. I felt that when we left, we were leaving good friends. I highly recommend this B&B.

I was in charge of planning our girls getaway and I chose the FInger Lakes area. Based on previous reviews, I emailed Deb about their girls getaway package. Deb and Marc both were so easy to work with and only wanted to make our getaway special. We stayed upstairs in comfy beds near the ballroom so that we could play... More

This was our third trip to the Finger Lakes and our first time at The Black Sheep Inn. Debbie and Marc are the absolute best hosts! They truly make you feel like a part of the family and are extremely helpful in suggesting fun activities. The house is just gorgeous and the rooms have everything you need. We are already... More

My wife and I decided to explore the finger lakes for the first time and I sought out places to stay. The Black Sheep Inn looked nice from the Finger Lakes Tourist website but it also looked like it might be booked. My wife decided to call anyway and as luck would have it we were able to stay two... Gerald and Stephanie, we're so glad you found us. It was truly our pleasure to be your "home away from home", as it is our goal to help you be as comfortable as possible. We really enjoyed getting to know you and our discussions about all things "environmental" too. Looking forward to seeing you again sometime soon. More

If you are going to travel to the Finger Lakes region, then a stay at this inn is a must! The attention to detail is truly amazing and your entire stay will be beyond wonderful! From the owners (Deb and Marc) greeting you in the driveway as you pull up, to the welcoming chalkboard with your name(s) on it, every... More

Heidi, it was so much fun having your group with us at the Inn. It's always heart-warming to get to know such a longstanding group of friends. And, yes, although we are very proud to offer the freshest local, organic ingredients in our breakfasts, we are always happy to accommodate "light" or "less adventurous" eaters. It is important to us... More

My husband and I have stayed in several inns in the past, but our three-night stay at the Black Sheep Inn far surpassed them all. The rooms were beautiful, neat and clean; the breakfasts were as delicious as they were creative; and the Innkeepers, well I just can't say enough about them. If we so much as mentioned an interest... More

This weekend was our second visit to the Black Sheep Inn and we are already planning our next. Mark and Debbie have created a beautiful, unique and comfortable home for their guests in an historic Octagon house. The home itself is worth the stay as they have preserved so much of the original home's character. However, even though you can... More

My husband and I regularly stay at bed & breakfast & inns...this had to be the cleanest place we have ever stayed! Very impressive! Deb and Mark were wonderful hosts...very accommodating! Thank you Kelly for your kind comments. We take pride in presenting our Inn to our guests in the best condition possible. We had fun talking with you and Darro in the courtyard and out at the fire. You both contributed greatly to the fun and laughter we frequently experience around the Inn with our guests. Have a great summer! More

Mark and Debbie are extremely nice people: down to earth, welcoming, and very accommodating. It was great to meet and interact with them. Breakfasts were deliciously different each day; she makes everything from scratch using ingredients from her garden or local farms. Truly some of the best breakfasts we've had! The location was also ideal. It very close to the... More

We found the Black Sheep in almost by accident and boy, did we get lucky. Within a day or two of making our reservation the owners contacted us and gave us ideas and recommendations for our stay. During our four-day stay, Marc and Deb were superb, friendly, informative, talented, conversant and involved hosts. Their recommendations of wineries, restaurants, hiking trails,... More

Susan and Eric, it was great getting to know you, and believe it or not, we really do enjoy fielding questions about the house, the wineries, and the Finger Lakes region in general. We both enjoyed our discussions with you, and that's part of the fun of running a B&B. Whether by accident or not, we are glad you found... More
